Lucky Lucky Food Store @ Tasik Permaisuri

August 16, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

We had heard a lot about Lucky Lucky Food Store and this time we decided to visit them. Located just next to the gorgeous Tasik Permaisuri, Lucky Lucky Foodstore aims to provide Malaysians with a new dining experience.

The place is beautifully decorated with the fusion spin of both the foodcourt and kopitiam style. Well, Lucky Lucky Food Store brings you the sitting choice of indoor and outdoor, and as for parking, no worries as they have ample parking space available too.

Food Choices here vary from local, to western and they have Korean, dessert stalls as well as soup and stir-fried dishes. There are plentiful choices to go for and be early as we went around  6 pm, many stalls had already closed.

There are 12 stalls in total, and six of them are from the brainchild of Botanica+Co. And this time, we tried 3 of the stalls here which are the Fook Kin Chow, Tang Soup House, and the Machos!

Machos!

Crispy Chicken Tacos (RM 18)

Machos is specialises in Cali-Mex Street Food where they are serving delicious Nachos and Tacos. Grace who is a big fan of Tacos and Borritos definitely loves everything from here. And this time she tried the Tacos Selection. There are 3 choices where one can have the choice Crispy Chicken, Pulled Chicken, and Black Bean & Quinoa. We had the choice of Crispy Chicken which they are served with the crispy taco shell and topped with the Jack Cheese, together with the Pico De Galo and Lettuce. It’s very flavourful and each mouthful is perfectly good where Grace gives a double thumbs up!

Tang Soup House

Black Chicken Soup (RM16)

Tang Soup House attracted me at the first glance because they offer wide choices of soup where the menu is curated by TCM. Soup Lovers will surely fall in love with the soup selection here where they offer from the Black Winter Melon Soup to San Qi Wu Wei Zi Chicken Soup, Black Chicken Soup, Ginseng Fu Ling Chicken Soup, and more.

We have the Black Chicken Soup which comes simply nutritious and good. The soup is packed with flavors in it. The soup is so nutritious and soothing. Perfectly done and it is served with yam rice and some sides.

Fook Kin Chow

Fook Kin Chow offers you a variety of our favorite local delights. They come with choices of rice, noodles, curry, and many more and it is like our usual meal in Tai Chow. And in here, one can have a wide variety choices of stir-fried dishes that will definitely make you come back for more.

Claypot Fish Head Curry (RM 38)

The Claypot Fish Head Curry is awesomely delicious and double thumbs up. The fish comes huge and the portion is generous. The gravy is thick, and creamy with a little kick of spiciness in it. For the fish, they are just perfect and the meat comes simply flaky.

Prawn Paste Chicken Wings (RM 15)

The prawn paste chicken wings come amazingly good where the chicken is beautifully marinated till perfection and deep fried. It brings you with the awesome crispy bites where you definitely come back for more.

Sambal Petai Udang

The Sambal Petai Udang is marvelous. Aromatic sambal together with the generous portion of petai and shrimps. Love the bouncy shrimps here too.

If you are looking for nice dining space with a great view, Lucky Lucky Foodstore is definitely the place to visit.
