Wall’s Malaysia continues to show appreciation towards delivery riders through ‘Wall’s Happy Moments’ campaign

July 3, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Wall’s Malaysia introduces ‘Wall’s Happy Moments’, a campaign to show support and appreciation to delivery riders nationwide – staying true to their mission to make the world a happier place, one delivery at a time. This campaign is a continuation from last year’s ‘Wall’s Bersama Riders’ where a total of RM100,000 worth of helmets were donated to delivery riders.

This year, Malaysians can continue to show their support and appreciation towards riders by participating in ‘Wall’s Happy Moments’ from 1st of July till 25th July 2022. For every purchase of RM35 from ‘Wall’s Ice Cream’ store on Grabfood & Foodpanda, RM5 will be channeled towards putting together a safety care kit for our unsung heroes, our delivery riders.

Despite being in the endemic phase, the risk of contracting Covid-19 is still prevalent especially for delivery riders whose work requires interacting with many different people in a day. Therefore, Wall’s Malaysia aims to donate 10,000 packs of care kits to delivery riders to remind them to stay safe while at work. The care box includes a Thank You card, handwash, hand sanitizer, and ten personalized Wall’s face masks.

Abhijit Kulkarni, Ice Cream Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore & Vietnam Lead and Innovation Lead for Unilever Malaysia said, ‘As a result of the overwhelming support from our previous campaign, where we donated helmets to delivery riders alongside Malaysians who have generously supported the campaign, we hope to continue the momentum and support for our delivery riders who tirelessly deliver our food and drinks despite the weather conditions. Through this year’s ‘Wall’s Happy Moments”, we want to share this happiness with these heroes and hope that Malaysians will continue to join in and express their appreciation towards our delivery riders too.”

This nationwide campaign welcomes everyone and anyone to participate and spread happiness with every ice cream purchase.
