Rasa Lama @ Subang

July 12, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Jom Rasa Lama!

It is indeed a nice hidden place in Subang serving you with delicious Asian Malaysian Delights. The word “Rasa Lama” in Malay literally translates to ‘old taste’ or ‘familiar taste’ in English language. In here, Rasa Lama’s kitchen is bringing the Asian Malaysian Delights to the modern world.

In Rasa Lama, they are serving with the Asian-Fusion Delights that celebrate the flavours, and textures of Malaysia. There are 3 elements which they believe makes it uniquely Rasa Lama which is an enjoyable dining experience, authentic and unique taste, and finally using the freshest ingredients.

SALAD

The Broccoli (RM 30)

Using the Brinchang broccoli, the broccoli is perfectly grilled till perfection and it is served with the onion pickle garlic confit and shaved parmigiana. The dish is superbly delicious where the broccoli comes simply flavourful and they are completely delicious and addictive too.

SOUP

Mushroom Soup (RM 17)

As for the soup; we enjoyed their creamy mushroom soup which is packed with the fragrant mushroom blend in it and what’s more is super favourful and delicious.

MAINS

Rasa Lama Rotisserie (RM 33)

As for mains we tried their signature Rasa Lama Rotisserie where it comes with half chicken, coconut percik-fusion gravy, potato wedges and sides with the awesomely sauteed mushroom. The meat is simply juicy and moist and we love the taste so much!

Rasa Lama Duck Rendang (RM 28)

The whole duck leg is cooked for hours ensuring the meat is tender and juicy, It is then served with their awesomeliciou Rendang with the fruit acar, spicy nyonya sambal and some crackers. Deliciously good!

Rasa Lama Seafood Curry Laksa (RM43)

One of the bestsellers and our favourites is the Rasa Lama Seafood Curry Laksa. The Curry Laksa comes awesomely delicious where they are complete with the thick, creamy and rich seafood broth. They are then topped with the whole Manukan Lobster, Prawns and condiments.

Crispy Fish & Chips (RM 32)

For those who love some bites of crispiness, go for their deliciously made Crispy Fish & Chips. The Asian seabass fillet are beautifully deep fried till perfection where it is deep fried till golden brown and loaded with their fries, house tartar sauce and lemon wedge.

Rasa Lama Spaghetti (RM25)

A unique spaghetti that one must go for. One can enjoy the wholesome dish is packed with the ultimate flavours. The spaghetti comes with the Daun Selasih, Garlic, Walnut, Cherry, Tomato, Lemon and shaved parmigiano. They are perfectly cooked and brings you with the al-dente texture. Yummz.

Sago Gula Melaka

Their gula sago melaka is my favourite of all. One can enjoy the wholesome gula sago melaka where the sago is beautifully cook and served with the coconut milk and gula melaka. Delicious!
