Hyatt TST – Chef Marin Leuthard Appointed as the Executive Chef

 Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui is delighted to announce the appointment of Chef Marin Leuthard as the new Executive Chef of the Hotel.

 

Swiss-born Chef Marin began his extensive culinary career in 1986, working in various countries and hotel groups, including Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.

 

In October 2004, he first joined the Hyatt family as Executive Sous Chef at Grand Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman and was promoted to Executive Chef of Hyatt Regency Almaty, Rahat Palace in March 2007. He then re-joined Grand Hyatt Muscat in May 2010 and subsequently Hyatt Regency Delhi in December 2012. In January 2016, Chef Marin joined Grand Hyatt Incheon as the Executive Chef, followed by Grand Hyatt Macau in March 2019.

 

In May 2022, Chef Marin relocated to Hong Kong and joined Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui as the Executive Chef. In his new capacity, Chef Marin oversees the food operations in all restaurants at the Hotel, including Hugo’s, The Chinese Restaurant, Cafe, Chin Chin Bar, as well as in-room dining service and the Hotel’s popular events catering. With his unrivalled experience and genuine passion for the food and beverage industry, Chef Marin is set to bring great value to the growth and development of Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Situated in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui business and tourist district with direct access to Tsim Sha Tsui and East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations, the hotel offers 381 guestrooms and suites, authentic cuisines with 3 restaurants and a bar.  A 24-hour fitness centre and an outdoor heated swimming pool are also available to provide a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
