Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro : In-depth Review

June 27, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Huawei comes up with their brand-new watch which comes with the premium look watch where one will definitely be tempted for. The brand new Huawei watch Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is definitely a must to have for watch lover.  The watch itself not just bringing you a nice touch of elegance but it is more than that.

It is definitely not a normal watch like other but the white ceramic case is unforgettable at the first glance. The masterpiece brings you with the flawless and beautiful look and it is simply breathable and comfortable to the wrist. It refines it into a rather classy but also more fashionable experience.

DISPLAY

The GT 3 Pro titanium features a 1.43-inch AMOLED colour display with a 477 x 466 resolution with reduced thickness by 0.5mm as compared to the previous model. For the ceramic edition, its flower dial changes shapes that tell whether it is daytime or nighttime on a 1.32-inch AMOLED HD coloured Sapphire glass display with a 466 x 466 HD resolution.

That case is partnered up with a comfortable grey leather removable strap and you can have also get other choice of stripe like metal ones. It brings you with the slick look and the 10.0 inch thick case is not too chunky and the weight is perfect which is at 50g without the strap.

The watch completes with 3 buttons which is the power button, function button, and also support for operation button such as pressing and holding and rotating the watch crown. It comes with the wireless charging which is indeed convenient.

Like the Huawei watches that have come before it, the Watch GT 3 Pro is a very good fitness and health tracking watch. Even if it doesn’t feature many interactive elements, its overall tracking experience is far superior to that offered on most other smartwatches.

You’re getting the same level of waterproofing here too, though Huawei has also made the GT 3 Pro fit for free diving up to 30 metres depth. And this is one of the few smartwatches that offers that level of protection outside of a swimming pool.

Features

Like other watches, the smart watch offers quite a number of features such as Free Diving tracking, 100+ workout mode including driving range, heart rate & SpO2 measurement, view notification, app store access, watch faces and ECG Support.

It runs on Harmony OS and works with Android and iOS devices, though you’ll get the most complete experience using it with Android and particularly Huawei smartphones. The overall experience is awesome.

For those who are in sports, the sport tracking modes are indeed awesome where they comes with the NEW running-focused insights like assessing your running ability and viewing VO2 Max estimates. The tracking are pretty accurate and they also offered a good step in tracking data too.

What I love is with the Huawei Living Clover, you will get a nudge when you drink water which is something add on! You can also track skin temperature, SpO2, stress and they also have the ECG Sensor in it.

Battery

The battery is definitely something I am looking at especially on watch. I wouldn’t want to charge my watch daily or even every few days. Huawei is quoting the same battery numbers for the GT3 Pro that it did for the GT3. It’s up to 14 days in what it calls ‘typical usage’ and then that drops to 8 days in heavy usage.
