Food Republic Unveils New Outlet at Pavilion Bukit Jalil!

April 28, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Food Republic will be unveiling its latest outlet at new mall Pavilion Bukit Jalil come May 2022. Diners can expect a sleek, modern interior featuring woody tones accented with elegant turquoise and contemporary splashes of vibrant elements in the bright, airy atrium.

“Food Republic continues to reimagine food experiences for our new and loyal customers by curating a selection of tenants to offer the best of hawker and restaurant fare under one roof. We aim to be a one-stop destination for everyone who wants a taste of authentic street food in a comfortable dining ambience where they are spoilt for choice,” said Mr Andy Kiu, General Manager, Food Republic Malaysia. “With the launch of this new outlet and as we welcome several new tenants into our family, we hope to continue sharing with our customers the rich heritage and culture in Asian cuisine that each of our tenants brings, and ultimately uniting people from all over the world through good food.”

There’s always something for everyone

With a well-rounded food mix featuring popular selections such as fragrant Signature Curry Fish Head and other local stir-fry dishes from Little Wok or a heart-warming bowl of stuffed vegetables and tofu from Yong Tau Foo, Food Republic aims to meet expectations of locals and foreigners who seek variety and flexibility in dining options, situated within a shopping and dining haven yet with an affordable and reasonable price tag.

Well-loved options such as Hot Plate Chicken Yee Mee from Delicious Hot Plates, Western fare from Wild Basil Western, and authentic Japanese cuisine by Ken-chan Curry are also some of the exciting new flavours for diners to look forward to in addition to all-time favourite teppanyaki dishes at Ichiban Teppanyaky – boasting a large counter-seating area to provide a feast for the senses with an extensive menu prepared by chefs upon order at the grill.

Artist Impression

Welcoming patrons at the entrance of the atrium is JuzzBar, perfect for recharge from the heat with thirst-quenching fresh fruit juices, or one can indulge in traditional sweet treats such as Cendol and Ice Kacang at the Dessert stall. Smaller scale kiosks are also part of the atrium’s offering, designed to encapsulate a renewed yet familiar look of a local hawker stall, providing fuss-free grab-and-go local snack and treats for shoppers. A harmonious blend of old and newSince its first food atrium in Singapore in 2005, Food Republic takes pride in serving well-loved street fare, enhancing the dining experience in an air-conditioned setting while retaining the charm and heritage of a bustling hawker center. Each stall provides an immersive experience for all senses, which includes a ‘live’ cooking demonstration delivered through each stall’s open-kitchen concept.

Additional features such as cashless payments and food delivery services are also introduced to allow diners to enjoy the varied food choices available at the outlet in the comfort of their own homes.

Join in the celebration

As part of the opening launch, Food Republic Malaysia will feature a different stall daily offering 50% off on a selected dish, redeemable using coupons which can be found at various customer service counters in Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Discount vouchers will also be distributed at the main entrance of the mall for a week upon opening during meal times for diners to sample the varied food mix at the outlet. Food Republic Pavilion Bukit Jalil is a strictly ‘no pork no lard’ atrium and is open from 10am to 10pm daily.
