This Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Fahrenheit88 presents Raya Melodies, featuring the past in an exquisite showcase of legacy and tradition, inspired by the life and work of Malaysian performing icons, Tan Sri P. Ramlee and Puan Sri Saloma. In partnership with Arkib Negara Malaysia, Fahrenheit88’s Raya celebrations present a golden ambience of yesteryears, by reliving nostalgic memories against a backdrop of traditional kampung huts infused with contemporary designs from now until 16 May 2022.
In a tribute to Tan Sri P. Ramlee and Puan Sri Saloma, the P. Ramlee Gallery on Level 2, presents the P. Ramlee dan Saloma Exhibition – Aku, Dia dan Lagu. From now until 31 July 2022, fans will get the chance to watch snippets of their movies, browse old movie posters and soak in a rare display of personal artifacts of the two icons, including clothing made famous in their movies and performances!
Get in the Raya mood Raya Craft Market at Ground Atrium where Fahrenheit88 partners with leading promoter of Malaysian arts and handicrafts, Kraftangan Malaysia, to present unique Raya souvenirs and a comprehensive collection of gift ideas. These include all kinds of artisanal merchandise, festive wear, handmade accessories, as well as jewelry. Here, shoppers can also try their hand at a game or two of traditional game congkak or snap Instagram-worthy photos with traditional props.
Throughout the celebrations, a variety of activities and performances will engage shoppers including busking performances and a series of workshops such as Batik Colouring, Ceramic Colouring, Wire Keychain Making, Manik Accessories Making and Creating Non-Baked Raya Cookies.
