April 23, 2022 By StrawberrY Gal - Food News Leave a Comment

DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside’s Makan Kitchen presents the “Around Malaysia in 80 Dishes” buffet dinner. Inspired by the 1872 book “Around the World in 80 Days” by Jules Verne, the buffet dinner offers a culinary voyage through the vast array of Malaysian cuisine. This year’s concept associates the best of Malaysia’s regional food with Putrajaya’s famous air balloon.

This buffet dinner is part of the nationwide ‘Jelajah Selera Bersama Hilton’ campaign by Hilton hotels in Malaysia. Inspired by Malaysia’s unique cultural tapestry and culinary heritage, this year’s theme calls for all foodies to explore the iconic flavours of Malaysia and beyond. Malaysia stands out as the centre of diversity in Asia, Jelajah Selera Bersama Hilton is a testament to that.

“The pandemic has taught us to truly cherish quality time with loved ones. As family and friends are finally able to gather and embrace the festive spirit this year, DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside invites everyone to come together and create new memories as they embark on a culinary adventure this Ramadan,” said Hilton’s Marketing & Communications Director; Eugene Oelofse. Curated by Executive Chef Mohd Faizal Bin Abd Ghani, guests are invited to taste their way through Malaysia’s food heritage with 80 mouth-watering dishes representing the best of what the nation’s 13 states have to offer.
