Batu Lanchang Food Court @ Penang: Delicious Penang Hawker Delights

April 30, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Penang being heaven of food, we usually love to hunt for local delicacies there. And this time, we are not visiting those famous outlets but back to local favorites. One of the places which are famed for local delicacies is Batu Lanchang Food Court which is just next to the Batu Lanchang Market

Batu Lanchang Market is a place that is famed among the locals. Some of the must-haves there include the CKT, Nyonya Kuih, and also the Pasembur.

Char Koay Teow

The Char Koay Teow is decently good. They are well-fried with wok-hei and every mouthful is so good and we ordered another one after trying the first plate.

Mee Goreng

The Mee Goreng here is also decently good. They are well fried with scrumptious ingredients like the sotong, potatoes and also beancurd.

Popiah

The popiah stall here is always in-queue. They are indeed famous among the locals and they are made upon order. The popiah is packed with the turnips and very nice and delicious.

Pasembur

This is a must to try here. Not the Indian pasembur, but the Penang pasembur here is served with crispy crackers, thinly sliced mengkuang, cucumber, and also tau kua. One can choose to add on with jellyfish. Served with their signature gravy, they are just irresistible and delicious.

If you are looking for local Penang favorites, head to Batu Lanchang Food Court now.
