Our First Impression: Samsung Galaxy S22+

March 7, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Is finally here! For Samsung Fans, is time to unleash the Samsung Galaxy S22+. Samsung S Series has never disappointed us and we are amazed with their quality in terms of performance as well as it’s highlight- Photography.

And this time, Samsung comes up with their series of S22 which includes S22, S22 + and S22 Ultra. And this time, we are going to see what S22+ have for us!

Size

The size of the Samsung S22 + comes with 157.4 x 75.8 x 7.6 mm and it weight 195 grams where it is slightly heavier than S22. And they comes with the 2,340-by-1,080-pixel resolution.

Colours

For colours, they come with 4 choices of beautiful colours which are indeed eye-catching. One can spot the 4 elegant colours which includes Phantom White, Green, Pink Gold and Phantom Black. The colours tone are amazingly beautiful and striking out. Regardless which you choose, they are perfectly a great choice and they are indeed elegant in somehow. For me, I choose the Pink Gold where it brings you a light hue of pink with the blink blink gold touch in it.

Storage & Performance

For all S22 models; they are using the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The S22+ comes with 8GB RAM and with the choice of 128 GB ROM or 256 GB ROM. Pick then carefully, because without a microSD card slot, that’s all the space you get. And with the combination of both, your phone will definitely assured to be smooth. Since it is Samsung’s Flagship grade performance, no one will find any reason to complain about this!

The Battery

The Battery life is pack at 3,700mAh and the fully charge will be taking around 75 minutes.  Samsung’s claim of 45W fast charging is perplexing. I timed how long it took to fully charge all of the models in the S22 lineup via Samsung’s 45W accessory charger. All of them have different battery capacities, but suspiciously, they all charged in about 75 minutes.

Camera

As for the camera, Samsung S22+ definitely will not disappoint you for sure. On the front, you get a 10MP selfie cam. The main rear sensor is 50MP, with a 12MP ultrawide and the 10MP telephoto joining it. On the photos; we will share more in our full review.

What’s in the box

The Galaxy S22+ completes with a Quick Start Guide, Warranty Card, Regional Lock Guide, an Ejection Pin, and a Charging Cable.
