It’s time to Mari-Mari Makan at Nook

March 9, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Celebrating Malaysia’s well-loved cuisine and  our reputation as a foodie paradise, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral invites everyone to “MariMari Makan” this festive season. Nook, the hotel’s futuristic all-day dining restaurant is  inviting guests to experience the best of Malaysia’s heritage cuisine for a mouthwatering  gathering with family and friends.

Nook’s sassy culinary team has prepared a lavish buffet spread, taking guests on an edible  journey from Kelantan to Johor. Our Warisan Melayu menu has been carefully crafted by  our Executive Chef Arfizan and along with his talented team.

Sink your teeth into our crowd-pleasing Kambing Bakar Berempah – melt-in-your-mouth  lamb that’s been roasted in a variety of local spices and served with homemade Sambal  Bumbu, availble at our live carving station. Meat lovers rejoice, for our Sous-Vide Beef: a  smooth slow-cooked beef brisket rendang with mint gravy and tangy air assam kerisek is  sure to satisfy your cravings.

Malaysian favourites such as Sup Periuk, Buubur Lambur, a satay station, rojak station,  Kerabu Jantung Pisang, Pajeri Nenas Manis, Nasi Briyani Johor, Assam Pedas Stingray,  Chicken Rendang Negeri Sembilan, a noodle station and more are also on offer.

Reflecting our jet-setting vibe, you can expect international dishes such as Wok-fried Kam  Heong Crab, Wok Fried Chicken Kung Po, Pan-seared Fish Fillet with Bisque sauce & crispy  leek, Pizza, Chicken Cordon Blue with Thyme Jus, Lala Omelette, Hainanese Chicken Rice and more.

End the night on a sweet note with crowdpleasing favourites, including two types of Kuih  Lapis, Milo & Yam jelly, Claypot Bubur Cha Cha, Sago Air Gula and Kolak Ubi. International  offerings include Baklava, Pandan Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce, Salted Caramel  Chocolate Pie, Strawberry Religieuse, Salted Caramel Chocolate Pie, Neapolitan Cheesecake and more.

Quench your thirst with Air Tebu, Sirap Bandung, Air Kurma, Air Jagung, Teh Tarik, Nescafe  Tarik and Kopi Hang Tuah.

The buffet, Jom Buka @ Nook, is priced at RM168 nett per adult and will be  served daily from 7 April – 1 May from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.

Early bird pricing is available at RM128 nett for 1-39 vouchers, and RM118 nett for 40 and  above vouchers, from 1 March until 31 March.
