This time, we had our romantic staycation before our little one is out. Glenmarie Hotel and Golf Resort comes up with their awesome staycation package by the theme “Inspire Romance”.
For those who are not aware, Glenmarie Hotel & Resort is formerly known as Holiday Inn Glenmarie and they are beautifully located just next to the Golf Course and a great place for complete relaxation with you and your loved ones.
Located at the cozy ambiance, with the relaxing and great view, the staycation is absolutely a great one where one can enjoy a night stay with your loved one and dining in the room together. Upon our arrival, we are greeted warmly by their front desk receptionist and the whole check-in process is a breeze.
The room comes with yellow dim lights and a romantic ambiance. In here, one can enjoy the awesome view of the golf course and the whole room is well decorated. They are indeed a surprise and it is well decorated with the swan on the bed. The deco is indeed impressive and we can see the great effort they had put in to ensure the decoration is beautiful and romantic.
The room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, working desk, mini-fridge, coffee and tea, safe box, iron, ironing board, and also the hairdryer.
The bed is simply comfortable and we have a great night’s sleep throughout the night. Asides from that, the room is complete with the basic necessities and it comes with a bathtub too. Soak yourself in the bathtub and relax here!
The package also comes with the 4-course dinner in the room where we had the beef and salmon set for two. What we need to do is to inform them in advance what time we plan for our dinner and they will arrange accordingly and deliver them to our room. The four-course set consists of soup/salad, a main course, desserts, and a drink of your choice (mocktail or juice).
The portion comes simply generous. Starting off with their salad, the salad comes simply fresh and topped with a generous portion of grilled chicken on top. It is light and yet very appetizing,
As for the mushroom soup, the soup comes simply flavourful and creamy. Each mouthful is so good and delicious and we love it so much!
As for the main, I had the salmon while Jerry had the beef. Both the dish is superbly delicious and portions come simply generous as well. They are so good that we whipped the plate clean.
We ended with the desserts and the fruit platter.
Overall Experience
For us, it is a great experience for a romantic staycation and enjoys splendid moments just two of us before the little one comes out. It is a nice romantic staycation where you can have time out from your kids as well as spend moments with your loved one in another ambiance.
