Kin San Kitchen @ Desa Sri Hartamas: Hidden Jewel Home Cooked Style Japanese Delights

February 7, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

It is our first time visiting this decent hidden Japanese Cuisine which is located in Desa Sri Hartamas. When we enter, it is juts a simple restaurant and there is nothing fancy. Menu is pretty normal, nothing much to shout about but we spotted a few Japanese dining there.

According to the server, they have been in the business for more than 30 years serving Japanese cuisine and we flip thru the menu and most of them are home cook Japanese meals.

We ordered some some sushi to go for as Grace wanted some. We have the Ebiko Sushi, Tamago Sushi, and Inari Sushi. They are good and delicious which Grace give a double thumbs up.

The Chawanmushi (RM 6.90) comes delicious too where the egg is so smooth and silky. Perfectly made with the egg aroma in it.

The Garlic Fried Rice is superb, We love the aromatic fried rice which is beautifully stir fried with loads of garlic in it. Deliciously done

As for us, we had their Bento Set (RM 33.90) which comes with the salmon fish, salad, fruits, callifornia roll, rice, soup and a chawanmushi. The decently made set comes simply delicious and scrumptious where the salmon is well-made and grilled. They are so good which I could not resist.

We also have the Chicken Teriyaki Set (RM 22.90). The Chicken Teriyaki Set is awesomely good where the chicken is perfectly marinated and the meat is tender and juicy. It’s texture is flavourful too.

If you are looking for a decent Japanese Home Cook Style restaurant, this is perfectly the place you are looking at.
