The BEST THICKEST Egg Tart, Polo Bun & The MOST DELICIOUS Nasi Lemak 《Oriental Kopi》 in Malaysia

January 13, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Oriental Kopi is one of our recent visits and we definitely say YES to visit again! Located in Bandar Puteri Puchong, Oriental Kopi offers you with the wide variety of food, perfectly delicious with the feel of old-style kopitiam.

Signature Egg Tart

A must to try here is their Signature Egg Tarts and the Egg Tart also in Malaysia Books of Records. The Masters of the Oriental Kopitiam had brought their egg tarts to another lever where they are using the traditional methods in making the egg tarts. The “Oriental Egg Tarts” was produced after years of refinement, giving them the perfect colour, aroma, and taste.

Freshly handmade daily over 128 layers. Baked under high temperatures, the Oriental Egg Tart become flaky and crispy. Accompanied by the golden caramelized egg filling; it’s permeated with the egg fragrance bringing out a sweet but not greasy, crispy and full flavoured taste. Each mouthful is packed with goodness and aromatic hint of the egg custard taste. Just perfect at any time.

Oriental Polo Bun  with condensed Milk

Excitingly, we arrived there for lunch and the queue is defiantly a long one where one can enjoy the awesome delicacies in one place. With the taste of Hong Kong, one can enjoy the bites of the crispy crusts of the polo and inside is soft fluffy. Spread the butter over and you can taste the delighting awesome Polo Bun here. Add the condensed milk for a sweeter flavour

Kaya  Butter Toast

Their Kaya Butter Toast is marvellous. I love how they are done where it remains its crispiness and the kaya is fragrant and creamy. We love the kaya too. They are really awesome and each mouthful is incredibly good.

Oriental Curry Laksa Mee ( RM 12.90)

Their Oriental Curry Laksa Mee is another must try. I love how it is done where the broth is made from 8 signature spices such as turmeric, garlic, chilies, lemon grass and more. Together with the coconut milk and curry leaves added to it, you will ensure that each mouthful will brings you with the robust flavours in it. Sides with the Tofu Bok, Fish Cakes, Eggs, Taugeh, Long Beans, and Chicken. The bowl of the Oriental Curry Laksa is superbly delicious and every mouthful is so good that we can resist to have another bowl.

Nanyang Curry Chicken Rice (RM 12.90)

Made from their house speciality; the Nanyang Curry Chicken is carefully made by picking up the premium ingredients. The curry is boiled till it is fragrant and creamy, served together with potatoes. You can enjoy your curry with the choice of rice or bread. Yummz!

Penang Char Koay Teow ( RM 13.90)

Penang food lover must not miss this. One can enjoy the delicious Penang Char Kuey Teow here which is packed with the wok hei. The kuey teow comes with the soft and chewy texture and stir fried together with their special sauce and topped with Fish Cakes and Fresh Prawns. They come simply good and I love aromatic char taste in it.

Signature Nasi Lemak

Don’t miss out their Signature Nasi Lemak. The Nasi Lemak completes with the fragrant blend of the coconuty taste in it.  They are awesomely delicious and sides with the huge drumstick, together with the anchovies, sambal. The chicken is perfectly deep fried till perfection with the crispy skin and the meat is so juicy. Indeed a truly remarkable dish in Oriental Kopitiam.\

Chendol

We also tried their Cendol, it is simply delicious and I love their shaved ice and the gula melaka in it. Topped with red bean and azuki bean which is awesome.

And being here, one must try their coffee! They have wide choices of coffee where they have Oriental Kopi, Oriental Classic White Coffee, Oriental Roasted White Coffee and many more. Their coffee is indeed fragrant and each sip is such an indulgence.

If you are looking for a delectable delight to go for, do heads up to Oriental Kopitiam for an awesome dish that definitely won’t disappoint you.
