January 21, 2022 By StrawberrY Gal - Food News Leave a Comment

The year of the tiger is upon us and staying true to its timeless tradition of bringing people together with good food, Maria’s SteakCafe is ushering this festive new year in with a roar with their Abundance and Prosperity sets to kickstart a year of wealth and fortune. Awarded the World Top Gourmet Awards in 2018 by World Gourmet and famously known for their steaks, Maria’s SteakCafe is constantly redefining gastronomical norms and has created a signature “East meets West” fusion where the best of both worlds come together resulting in a mouth-watering gastronomic flabbergast that will delight every food lover out there.

PROSPERITY SET

Great things and food are meant to be shared in life. Starting at RM1088++, the Prosperity Set is perfect for 8-10 pax. One of the best things about Chinese New Year is Yee Sang, so grab those chopsticks and toss that tasty colourful appetiser dish with your family and friends while exchanging prosperous greetings. The Yee Sang comes with the option of traditional smoked salmon or something a little more daring with their pulled beef. The rest of the appetiser portion includes 2 plates of Spicy Mussels, 2 Caesar Salads to refresh your palette and 10 bowls of Mushroom Soup to warm your bellies for more goodness to come.

The spotlight of the Prosperity Set is the main course of 3 pieces of Grain fed Rib Eye (200g-220g/pc), 4 pieces of New Zealand Lamb Cutlets and 5 portions of Spaghetti Seafood Aglio Olio. For premium indulgence, you can upgrade your Grain fed Rib Eye to the Australian Black Angus Rib Eye (230-250g) at RM58++ or the Australian Wagyu MB7 Rib Eye (230-250g) at RM198++ or the Australian Wagyu MB9 Rib Eye (230-250g) at RM288++.

End your meal of prosperity on a sweet note with 2 Prune Loaves. For the wine connoisseurs, you can add on a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, Vineyard Reserve from Maipo Valley, Chile at RM145++ or a bottle of Tempranillo, Vina Alberdi Reserva from Rioja, Spain at RM250++.

ABUNDANCE SET

For those having a smaller, more intimate Chinese New Year gathering, the Abundance Set caters well for 4-6 pax, at RM738++. Featuring all the delights of the Prosperity Set with smaller servings. Starting your meal off, there’s Yee Sang with the option of pulled beef or smoked salmon. Followed by a plate of Spicy Mussels, 1 Caesar Salad and 6 bowls of Mushroom Soup before satiating your appetite with the main course of 3 Grain fed Rib Eye (200-220g/pc), 2 New Zealand Lamb Cutlets, 2 Spaghetti Seafood Aglio Olio and 1 Prune Loaf for that final touch of sweetness in an abundant meal. Add-on options are available as per the Prosperity Set.

Yee Sang is also available on Ala carte basis with the option of smoked salmon or pulled beef priced at RM88++ (Medium, 4-6 pax) and RM168++ (Large, 8-10 pax).

All sets are available for dine-in, takeaway and delivery from now till 15th February 2022. In light of the Chinese New Year celebration, Maria’s SteakCafe is also giving away complimentary Limited Edition Ang Pow Packets when one spends a minimum of RM300 and above in a single receipt. The Ang Pow Packets are also available for sale at RM50 per pack.
