Pavilion Bukit Jalil Welcomes Shoppers to A Christmas Wonderland this Festive Season from 3 December Onwards

December 7, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

Pavilion Bukit Jalil, the Icon of Connectivity, invited the public to join in its inaugural Christmas celebration – A Christmas Wonderland on 3 December. Living up to the Pavilion brand, shoppers were awestruck with the wide variety of attractions, activities, and entertainment available as there was something for everyone visiting the mall for the first time this Christmas season.

The inaugural mall opening kicked off with 3 astounding awards, RM3,000,000 worth in prizes, giveaways and redemptions including a brand-new BMW 218i Gran Coupé (worth over RM210,000), an amazing Porsche Car Club gathering featuring 70 cars at the Piazza, and the REX Home Expo at the Pavilion Bukit Jalil Exhibition Centre – offering shoppers a comfortable, and festive ambience as they enjoy an elevated lifestyle retail experience.

“Through our partnership with Malton Berhad and backing by the team behind Pavilion, we are confident in Pavilion Bukit Jalil’s success as we gear up to host up to 3 million visitors during this festive period. Families and friends can celebrate the wonders of Christmas as they reconnect at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. We’ve decked the halls with our Christmas Wonderland theme and paired it with amazing offers fit for the season. Pavilion Bukit Jalil will be every shopper’s must-visit destination this year-end,” said Datuk Lee Whay Hoong, Director, Regal Path Sdn. Bhd., owner of Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

“From our massive 1.8 million square feet of retail space, 76% has successfully been leased, with the balance currently in various stages of negotiation. Despite volatile market conditions, we have persevered and fulfilled our brand promise to retailers. The response from potential retailers has been very promising after the mall’s opening, thanks to the overwhelming and positive attendance from shoppers. With renewed resilience, we are happy to continue bringing shoppers an elevated lifestyle shopping experience as more retailers progressively open in the coming weeks,” said Dato’ Joyce Yap, Chief Executive Officer of Retail, Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn. Bhd., Retail Planner of Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

On the auspicious day of 3 December, Pavilion Bukit Jalil was bestowed three ground-breaking awards by the Malaysian Book of Records for the Biggest Golden Rooster Sculpture, Largest Covered Outdoor Event Space, and First 3D Projection Mapping on a Shopping Mall Dome.

Paired with RM3,000,000 up for grabs, shoppers won’t leave empty-handed as they stand a chance to win weekly prizes like the OPPO Christmas set (worth up to RM2,000) or the grand prize, a brand-new BMW 218i Gran Coupé (worth RM211,367).

A Christmas Wonderland

Pavilion Bukit Jalil is turning into a Christmas Wonderland this holiday season. Take memorable photos underneath the glistening Snow Tunnel, enjoy a 360-spin on a classic Christmas Yuletide Carousel or grab yourself a train ticket and get on-board our Christmas Train at the Centre Court.

Something For Everyone

Christmas promotions abound this holiday season as shoppers can patronise a wide range of options, from affordable mass-market products to exclusive, prestigious brands at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Some of our merchants include:

Anchor tenant, PARKSON (the biggest outlet in Klang Valley’s Southern Corridor)

Mini anchors such as THE FOOD MERCHANT (a first-of-its-kind international grocer in Malaysia), HARVEY NORMAN SUPERSTORE, HOHM, MR. D.I.Y. and TOYS ‘R US.

The first international flagship stores in Malaysia for TIANYUE TEAJOY and LOHAS.

A haven for home interior design, with the likes of HOHM (the largest home essential products concept store in Malaysia), and GOODNITE.

“We have seen great confidence and commitment from our tenants and retailers, and we are excited to see our perseverance yield fruit with an American-Chinese visiting Malaysia spending RM100,000 at one of our first-in-Malaysia international flagship stores, Tian Yue Tea Joy, a renowned Chinese tea brand from China, on their opening day! With more than a decade of experience in retail, the Pavilion Group has a reputation for providing world-class retail experiences. Visitors to Pavilion Bukit Jalil will be treated to the same level of elevated shopping experiences,” added Dato’ Joyce.

Pavilion Bukit Jalil is committed to providing a shopper-first experience – from getting there to the moment shoppers leave our premise – the mall will continuously improve its facilities and operational services to better serve shoppers.

Come and soak in the festive cheer at Pavilion Bukit Jalil and experience the new largest lifestyle shopping destination in Klang Valley’s Southern Corridor from 3 December.
