Sheraton Petaling Jaya Celebrates Fourth Anniversary

October 20, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

Four years ago, on 16th October, Sheraton Petaling Jaya opened its doors for the first time and welcomed travellers and locals alike to its 253 guestrooms and six dining venues.

“Since opening in 2017, Sheraton Petaling Jaya has been exceptionally well received, and we have enjoyed welcoming both locals and travellers to enjoy our well-appointed guest rooms, six unique dining venues and expansive, flexible event space. Being part of Marriott International’s most global brand, Sheraton has always been a timeless, upscale pioneer in hospitality with deep roots in serving the local communities,” said Angela Fox, General Manager of Sheraton Petaling Jaya. “In spite of the challenging recent months, we have continued to support the community through donations of food to frontliners. Recently our team was mobilised to share the joy of the Mid-Autumn Festival by delivering Mooncakes to frontliners, orphanages and old folks’ homes around Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya areas,” added Fox.

The hotel’s anniversary celebration coincides with the reopening of interstate travel in the same week. “We have been looking forward to this day, when we can welcome travellers from other states back to our hotel after many months of lockdown. Following our Marriott International Commitment to Clean, our team are ready and waiting to deliver safe and SOP compliant experiences once more, whether it be a much-needed staycation, a long-awaited face-to-face meeting with business partners, or the planning of a milestone celebration, which we hope will be able to proceed in the not too distant future.”

To celebrate this momentous occasion, Sheraton Petaling Jaya has released pecial offers for room and dining vouchers, with savings up to 60% available for purchase this October. Voucher bundle packages which include hotel stays with suite upgrades, breakfast and a myriad of food and beverage options are available from only RM388. Special offers for dining credit vouchers are also available, with discounts of up to 30% and validity of 6 months.
