Pink October High Tea – a collaboration with BCWA in support of breast cancer awareness month

October 10, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

For this Pink October, Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara is honoured to collaborate with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA) by being a helping hand in their noble fund-raising campaigns to spread awareness and educate the public about breast cancer.  Sofitel’s Pink October Afternoon tea, curated specially to support the cause, will be served at Le Bar Cocktails and Stories from 8th to 31st October 2021 daily from 2:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m.  RM10 out of each order placed will be in contribution towards BCWA.  The proceeds will directly support BCWA in their commendable efforts in executing awareness campaigns for breast cancer.

According to BCWA, one in twenty women in Malaysia are at risk of having breast cancer.  This alerts us to be more compassionate in playing an active role to create awareness and provide support for all causes related to breast cancer.  Education and early detection can save lives, whilst the right support can drastically improve the lives of those affected.

Join us for a Pink October themed afternoon tea at Le Bar Cocktails and Stories with a delicately curated ensemble of delicacies imbued with French expertise and aesthetic presentation by our talented chefs. To further add significance, most of the sumptuous treats ranging from sweet to savoury have been ingeniously crafted to appear in pink hues.  Our picturesque pink afternoon tea arrangement not only treats the palate to elevated flavours, but also symbolizes femininity and support towards breast cancer awareness.

Some of the stunning creations include the Ispahan Macaroons finely crafted with flavours extracted from the Ispahan flower, the glazed Raspberry Financier containing essence of rose, the chocolate sphered Pink Forest with a cherry mousse, the very striking Pink Lady with Earl Grey Infused Apple Compote and a lovely medley of other charming handmade bites looking pretty in pink.  Our nuanced menu contains a blend of redefined classic recipes and chic French-inspired modern fusions.

We look forward to welcome you at Le Bar Cocktails and Stories for an elegant and meaningful afternoon to remember.

The Pink October afternoon tea set is at RM138 for two persons and it is also available from Sofitel’s online food delivery, via www.sofilicious.sofitelkldamansara.com.  For reservations and inquiries, contact 03-2720 6699 or email [email protected]
