Are you Team Fold or Team Flip?

August 24, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

The wait is finally over. Staying true to the ethos of making good things better, Samsung recently unveiled two new foldable smartphone innovations at Galaxy Unpacked: the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G.

As a pioneer in the foldable category, Samsung continues to lead the industry in smartphone innovation and excellence. Since its debut in 2019, the Galaxy Z Fold series has redefined entertainment and productivity capabilities in a smartphone with its revolutionary form factor. The Galaxy Z Flip series has also gained a cult following since its launch. A fashion statement sure to turn heads, the Z Flip combines a chic, highly customizable design reminiscent of retro clamshell phones with Samsung Galaxy’s flagship features.

Setting a new standard for mobile experiences, the new foldable smartphones now feature stunning new color options and improved craftsmanship to reinforce device durability. This year, the Z Fold3 takes foldable technology to the next level, with the integration of S Pen[1] support for the first time on a foldable device. The device also features an uninterrupted 7.6-inch Infinity Flex Display for efficient multi-tasking on the updated Multi-Active Window[2], which lets users see multiple apps at the same time, and via the new Taskbar[3] feature, which allows for easier app switching. Available in Phantom Black, Phantom Green and Phantom Silver, the Z Fold3 is truly a lean and mean productivity machine.

Meanwhile, the Z Flip3 comes equipped with new features, from expanded color options to stylish accessories such as ring grips and strap cases[4]. Aesthetics aside, the Z Flip3 also emphasizes convenience with a larger 1.9-inch[5] Cover Screen, which lets users view notifications, read messages and even make payments with Samsung Pay without even needing to flip open the device. The Z Flip3 is available in Cream, Green, Lavender and Phantom Black.

Offering the flexibility and versatility of seamless multitasking from any angle, the Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 are both equally compelling devices, so we don’t blame you for being torn for choice! Find out whether you are Team Galaxy Z Fold3 or Team Galaxy Z Flip3 with this quiz, and discover how each device can help complement your lifestyle and unlock new possibilities to what a smartphone can do.
