To The Moon at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur This Mid-Autumn

July 30, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

If you’re looking for a lavish spin on the traditional treat, Tao Chinese Cuisine  offers innovative flavours specially curated by Tao Chinese Cuisine’s master dim sum chef, Chef Lo Tian Sion.

The delicate treats — in both baked and snow skin varieties, unveil a host of delectable creations for durian  lovers, pandan fans, milk tea enthusiasts and green tea devotees – including four new signature flavours from  interesting local infusion of Durian Snow Skin with Custard and Salted Egg Cream, marrying the iconic  essences of Malaysia, to a fascinating variation on the pandan flavour – Scarlet Snow Skin with Pandan,  Minced Yolk and Bean Paste. As the trend for boba still holds strong, milk tea enthusiasts can rejoice to Bamboo Charcoal Snow Skin with Milk Tea, whilst green tea devotees, take zen in Green Tea Snow Skin  with Green Pea and Dragon Fruit.

For traditional yet uniquely flavoured baked skin mooncakes, Tao’s best-sellers make a comeback with their  signature Butterfly Pea Flower Snow Skin with Bird’s Nest – perfectly indulgent. Take homage in the all-time  favourites – Classic White Lotus Paste Single Yolk or Golden Jade Single Yolk amongst others.

This year, the Mid-Autumn Festival is extra special as it reminds us of the importance of family reunions and  the tradition of sharing mooncakes, whilst some of us are unable to reunite with loved ones, InterContinental Kuala Lumpur offers the option of mooncake delivery straight from Tao Chinese Cuisine to your family, friends  or business associates. All online orders can be placed on InterContinental Kuala Lumpur’s online store at www.intercontinentalklshop.com

Beautifully packaged in two exquisite packaging – Longevity & Opulence Gift Box, the tasty treats come  tucked away in a cherry blossom inspired box – to signify the blossoming of a new beginning or you can opt for  The Legacy Gift Box, bounded in luxurious leather – ideal for impressing even the most discerning of palate.

Each box is carefully made to keep the mooncakes fresh till they are delivered to the door.
