Radisson Collection expands in China with the opening of a stylish, nature-inspired resort in Nanjing

July 1, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

Radisson Collection, Radisson Hotel Group’s anthology of iconic lifestyle hotels, has expanded in China with the launch of Radisson Collection Resort, Nanjing, a chic and stylish new five-star retreat located within Jiangsu Horticultural Exposition Park, the spectacular integrated tourism complex.

Nestled on the banks of a lake and surrounded by floral gardens, hot springs and mountains, Radisson Collection Resort, Nanjing is inspired by the scenery of its destination. The design concept appears to ripple and flow like water, and dramatic glass walls let light flood through the interiors, blurring the boundaries with nature and blending seamlessly with the surrounding environment.

The 151 spacious rooms and suites offer soothing garden or lake views and modern amenities such as Nespresso machines, Dyson hair dryers, LED TVs and free Wi-Fi. The suites also promise additional space to unwind and access to the Executive Lounge, with an array of exclusive services.

When they are not exploring their scenic surroundings, guests can unwind in the swimming pool, enjoy therapies in the hot spring spa, or work out in the 24-hour fitness center. Two restaurants specialize in authentic local and international cuisine, while daytime and evening refreshments can be savored at the Lobby Lounge. Radisson Collection Resort, Nanjing is also an exceptional destination for events, with 770m2 of naturally lit function space, including the 500-pax Panlong Ballroom.

Home to boutique gardens, exhibition halls and waterside pavilions, the 6.9km2 Jiangsu Horticultural Exposition Park is the new home of the Horticultural Exposition of Jiangsu Province, one of Asia’s largest gardening and landscaping events. This world-leading tourism zone embraces smart technology, such as 5G connectivity, biometrics and driverless cars, and is easily accessible via metro links and national highways. Nanjing Lukou International Airport is a 50-minute drive away.

“We are delighted to unveil our latest Radisson Collection member in China. Following the brand’s debut in Shanghai earlier this year, the opening of Radisson Collection Resort, Nanjing represents another major milestone as it becomes the first Radisson Collection resort in Asia Pacific. We look forward to showcasing the China’s rich cultural heritage to even more guests in future, as we continue to open outstanding new hotels and resorts in iconic destinations all across the country,” said Gary Ye, Vice President, Operations, China, Radisson Hotel Group.

“Radisson Collection Resort, Nanjing is a masterpiece of design; a sleek, chic resort that embraces nature. With its outstanding location, eye-catching interiors, world-class facilities and locally inspired experiences, this five-star resort is sure to become a popular destination for one-of-a-kind events and leisure breaks,” said Tony Tan, General Manager, Radisson Collection Resort, Nanjing.

Launched in 2018, Radisson Collection enables savvy travelers to discover personalized hospitality, intuitive service and thoughtful touches. The brand now operates 15 hotels in key cities like Brussels, London and Moscow, with 20+ new properties in the pipeline in global gateways such as Paris, Milan and Cairo. The brand made its Asia Pacific debut in Shanghai earlier this year, with the opening of Radisson Collection, Xing Guo Shanghai, and expects to add new properties across China, in key gateway cities such as Shanghai and Wuxi in the near future.
