WIP on the Park by SOULed OUT Group (A New Oasis Blooms in the City)

June 14, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

While the battle towards beating the pandemic continues, the multi-award winning SOULed OUT Group takes the reigns and leads its F&B empire into greener pastures, with the opening of WIP On The Park in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Having thrived in the entertainment scene for over 26 years, the group is not slowing down. Rather than sitting back and waiting for the return of normalcy, it is taking the opportunity to bring city slickers a new sanctuary to wine, dine and party.

Expanding its famed WIP brand, the SOULed OUT Group is converting Tujo’s relocation to Marc Residence into an introduction of a new entertainment oasis for city dwellers. Staying true to form, WIP On The Park will mirror its existing legendary hot spot in Bangsar Shopping Centre in bringing a chic urban tropic garden to downtown living.

Inspired to transport its clientele to a trendy, lush Gastro-lounge, WIP On The Park combines a contemporary interior palette with cascading windows and verdant plant walls on a massive 10,000 square feet atrium and a patio that is equally charming for those who still prefer open-air drinking and dining.

In the drink’s category, WIP On The Park has also composed a program that will cater to every kind of drinking preference. Enjoy a variety of specialised wines from around the world to local beers and an expansive spirits menu that encompasses an impressive variety of whiskies, gin, rum, vodka, brandy, and tequila. The cocktail experience here is also taken very seriously where patrons will be able to partake in a list of sweet and potent craft cocktails made from only the freshest ingredients. The bartenders take such care in concocting these magic potions that all one has to do is state their favourite taste profile and they will happily recommend the perfect liquid courage necessary to transform your happy hour stop-in into all-night dance party.

On the food front, WIP On The Park will be presenting hefty, comfort-driven plates that is guaranteed to pad tummies. With almost 100 flavourful dishes donning the menu, this city spring presents such an extensive variety of cuisine that customers will truly be spoilt for choice. Crafted with an International flair from local, western, coastal and much more, whatever the mood is, WIP On The Park will have it covered.

To further indulge customers, reigning Queen of Spice, Celebrity Chef Sapna Anand will be holding a guest chef spot to tantalise tastebuds of the discerning food lover. Exclusive to WIP On The Park, those who enjoy flavourful dishes made from the best, freshest and finest Indian spices can look forward to an exquisite voyage of thematic dining sessions with the famed food maestro during the exclusive Chef’s Table nights.

At WIP On The Park, everyone is invited. No matter where you fall on the spectrum, it is the perfect perch of luxe decor and gorgeous nooks that will win anyone over—especially with a mojito, sangria, or martini in hand.

“When we were planning for Tujo’s relocation, we realised that all our brands are unique and iconic in their own way. So, after studying the F&B landscape in KL, we felt that WIP would be a great concept to bring to the heart of the city. Tujo was a fantastic entertainment space and of course we’re sad to say goodbye to it but WIP has a certain magic about it that we believe is missing in town. It is going to be the perfect place for shoppers during the day, the hardworking professionals who are out for lunch or needing to de-stress over happy hour and the party goers and discerning drinkers. It’s extremely exciting and we are all looking forward to bringing WIP to KL,” said Nelson How, Group Marketing Head of SOULed OUT Group.

While WIP On The Park slowly takes form, customers can stay up to date on information by visiting its Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/wipotp
