THE LANGHAM, HONG KONG PRESENTS ‘MOMENTS IN BLOOM’ MID-AUTUMN MOONCAKES

June 30, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival and family reunions, The Langham, Hong Kong is now offering the perennial favourite seasonal mooncakes stylishly packaged in The Langham’s coveted series of exclusive collectable floral boxes.

This Mid-Autumn Festival, Master Chef Kwong Wai Keung of three Michelin-starred T’ang Court, presents two classic mooncake flavours. Each ingredient has been meticulously selected to ensure that only the highest quality goes into every mooncake.

Presented in a fashionably appointed lacquered box adorned with an elegant rendition of peonies in full bloom, these mooncakes are the ideal gift for family and friends.

“Peonies symbolize romance, prosperity, good fortune, a happy marriage, honour, and compassion, all of which are key attributes to a good and happy life,” said Marcel Holman, managing director of The Langham, Hong Kong. “The Langham hopes to convey these blessings to our guests and their loved ones during this Mid-Autumn Festival with these mooncakes by Chef Kwong that are based on his cherished recipes.”

Highlighting The Langham’s collection of mooncakes on offer this year is the signature classic Mini Custard with Egg Yolk Mooncake. Always a crowd pleaser, this much sought-after flavour is bound to impress even the most discerning of connoisseurs.

Another firm favourite for both young and old or as an elegant Mid-Autumn gift is the White Lotus Seed Paste with Double Egg Yolks Mooncake. Made from the finest ingredients, this authentic and timeless flavour is a much-loved choice.

The Langham mooncakes are available now and may be collected from 9 August 2021 at Ming Court (Wan Chai) until 12 September 2021 and T’ang Court at The Langham, Hong Kong until 21 September 2021.
