A Special Feast at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur

Ramadhan is a special month  and it is a month of pureness and selfness, It is also the time for families to come together to strengthen their bonds, embrace  the Festivities and enjoy the great moments together.

With that, Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur is happy to share our Ramadan offerings with an exclusive breaking fast assisted buffet at Lemon Garden as well as signature gifts from Lemon Garden 2Go. Indulge in a bountiful spread of break- fast-centric, traditional Malay dishes and specially curated gifts to loved ones to commemorate the joyous occasion. This Ramadan, we welcome you with open arms.

Lemon Garden – Sajian Istimewa Seafood Assisted Buffet

Being one of the famous buffet restaurant in town, Lemon Garden is ready to welcome guests with warm and traditional decorations that complement well the culinary experience laid out. Throughout the month, the outlet will be serving Sajian Istimewa  Seafood Assisted Buffet after sundown where diners are able to feast and break-fast with family and  friends over a selection of seafood and international delicacies, alongside the main highlights – traditional,  signature Malay cuisine. 

The pleasant and inviting atmosphere boasts a single seating capacity of 180,  alongside well-placed buffet spread counters, live cooking stations surrounding Koi Pond area where  guests can amble among the extensive array of cuisine and lastly, a dessert pavilion filled with after meal  sweet bites. 

Executive Chef Scott Henderson, alongside Lemon Garden’s Malay Kitchen Chef Safee and Chef Safril –pledge to provide guests with original, authentic, and traditional flavors of Malay cuisine along with  signature selection of seafood and global delicacies.

Start off your meal with the wide variety of offerings starting for their variety choices of ulam ulaman where you can enjoy the variety of kerabu such as Kerabu Mangga, Kerabu Taugeh dengan Ikan Masin, Sotong Kampung, Urap Kacang Botol dengan Ikan Bilis Halus Goreng and many more. 

Traditional-influenced dishes include Daging Rendang Minang, Kambing Masak Kurma, Udang Masak , Sambal Petai, and Ayam Masak Lemak Cili Api just to name a few. Don’t miss out their satay, and many other selections.

Fitting with the occasion, they have live  -cooking stalls as part of our “Bazaar-like” setup offering Lemang Pulut, Ketupat Palas, and three types of   Serunding alongside Fried Cempedak, Cekodok, Bubur Kacang, Ais Batu Campur (ABC) and Pandan Mango Sticky Rice to get your appetite running. The carving corner serves Roasted Lamb with condiments whilst the barbeque stall serves Tikka Mastih, Kubbiedieh, Fish Harrah, Ayam Pandan and more upon requests. 

And a must to visit is their seafood counter offers sea specialties varying from Tiger Prawn, Mud Crab, Green Lips Mussels to  Scallops alongside a wide selection of Sushi and Sashimi. All other stations: namely Cold Cuts, Chinese,  Italian and Western will be in operation as well, offering guests a wide range of varieties. 

To end your dining experience, take a short walk to the dessert pavilion where Executive Pastry Chef  Roberto Hernandez and his talented team has filled up the line with mouthwatering desserts such as  Onde-onde Cupcakes, Rose Bandung Macaroon, Tropical Tiramisu, Strawberry Clafoutis, Morello Berry  Linzer Tart and many more. Don’t miss out the variety of ice cream selections, and other sweet delicacies as well. 

From 12 April to 12 May, Sajian Istimewa Seafood Assisted Buffet is available for Lunch, every Tuesday to  Sunday from 12pm to 3pm where it is priced at RM148 nett per person. For Dinner, where it is available  Daily – will start to serve from 7pm to 10pm. From Sunday to Thursday, it is priced at RM178 nett per  person and for Friday and Saturday, it is priced at RM198 nett per person. Children between the ages of  6 years old to 12 years old dine at half the price while children below the ages of 6 years old dine for free.  Golden Circle discounts are available for Gold, Jade and Diamond tier of 10%, 15% and 20% respectively.

Alternatively, and from 12 April to 12 May, guests can purchase digital vouchers for the buffet at RM160  nett (Sunday to Thursday) and RM178 nett (Friday and Saturday) – visit our online marketplace at www.shangri-la-special.com to learn more on the terms and conditions.

Lemon Garden – Sajian Istimewa @ Home

If you are looking to stay within the comforts of your own home, we have you covered! Besides the  offering for dine-in buffet, guests are also able to get their hands on the Sajian Istimewa dishes which are  available for both delivery and self-pick-up. Options include Kambing Panggang, Whole Roasted Ayam  Percik, Lemang Pulut with Serunding, Satay, Daging Tulang Masak Gulai, Daging Rendang, Ikan  Barramundi Masak Asam Pedas, Sayur Lodeh and Ayam Kapitan alongside three choices of rice: Nasi Minyak, Nasi Tomato or Nasi Goreng Kampung. All items are suitable to be consumed for up to 4 persons.

As it is also known as the Month of Charity and Giving, celebrate this Ramadan with our exclusive collection of Sajian Istimewa Giftsranging from hampers, tiffin sets as well as sweet and Savoury goodies – perfect for gifting to family, friends, and business associates. 

Available from 12 April to 16 May, the hampers are available in four (4) variations; Raya Delight, Lebaran  Delight, Aidilfitri Treasure and Aidilfitri Platinum – priced at RM388, RM488, RM788 and RM 1,188 nett, respectively. Overflowing with items to celebrate the occasion – highlighted products range from  Traditional Dodol, Layered Cake, Berry Crush Cookies, Lemon Garden’s Sambal Sauce, Premium Dates,  Pomegranate Juice, Chocolate Praline and Honey.
