NEW CULINARY ADVENTURES AT NEW WORLD PETALING JAYA HOTEL

March 14, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed many aspects of life – our diet habits included. Maintaining a healthy diet plays an important role in supporting our immune systems. This March and April, New World Petaling Jaya Hotel’s food and beverage team have put their heads together to create New Culinary Adventures that focuses on the healthy dining options for a better, healthier version of yourself. The new, healthy menus, available for dine-in or takeaway, provides a dining alternative that allows guests to eat with a purpose, without sacrificing the incredible flavours, gourmet treats and fresh ingredients.

Irresist-A-Bowls

New World Petaling Jaya Hotel presents a new seasonal menu “Irresist-A-Bowls”, inspired by Poke Bowls, a food trend for healthy dining enthusiasts. Following these culinary trends, Chef Khalil complemented the menu of The Lobby Lounge with a special set of 18 dishes, which include tuna, shrimps, quinoa, avocado, edamame, cauliflower rice, sweet potatoes and many more!

Besides authentic healthy varieties, a twist of bold, mouth-watering Malaysian flavours such as Braised Beef Ribs Rendang, Butterfly Pea Nasi Lemak, Lemongrass Chicken with Quinoa Fried Rice and others are showcased heartily into the mix. Not to forget the desserts, the new menu also introduces the Dragon Fruit Smoothie Bowl and Chocolate Avocado Mousse with Cacao Nibs. We have everything you need from healthy en bowls to warm bowls to desserts – all to satisfy your cravings and cure those mood swings, all while serving the taste buds.

Our new flavourful Irresist-A-Bowls are exactly like what the name implies, you definitely will ask for more! Irresist-A-Bowls is available daily from 11am to 8pm for dine-in or takeaways.

Pasta-licious

In the month of March, PJ’s Bar & Grill presents a whole new menu of pastas with a gluten free option! This on-trend, innovative promotion meets the needs of today’s travellers for healthier eating and diet options. For pasta lovers, going gluten-free may seem far more daunting than a simple diet modification. Whether you’re following a gluten-free diet due to health concerns, a sensitivity to gluten or personal preference, you don’t have to give up on your favourite dishes.

Gratify your pasta cravings with our al dente pastas tossed with freshly cooked ingredients! For the menu, our sous chef, Chef Chris elaborates on gluten-free seasonal options that allow guests to experience originality and pleasure at the dinner table. In the à la carte menu, gluten-free dishes are indicated with small icon on the right; moreover, on request, alternatives are offered every day.

Six of the featured recipes include: Fusilli Bucati, Spaghetti Carbonara, Paccheri, Squid Ink Tagliolini, Cavatelli and Pumpkin Gnocchi.
