Ding Feng Xiang BKT Pack: Anytime BKT at home!

March 6, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

Bak Kut Teh Since MCO, we are often staying at home and therefore we spend most of our timing cooking and more. Being a big fan of Bak Kut Teh, I had found out on the ads where the ambassador Gary Yap says that their bak kut teh is superb and cooking it is so easy.  Using over 13 types of Chinese Herbs in the pack, you definitely can taste the fragrant blend of the soup.

And we decided to grab them to try off. They are well packed and each pack comes with the aromatic herbs pack and a small pack of sauce with it. They are beautifully sealed and you can find a simple instruction inside.

What we do is we grab some pork from our butcher (We prefer An-Xin). In here, we blenched the pork before cook the bak kut teh. What we do, is just add water and black fire garlic in it, and let  the aroma comes out around 30 minutes.

Then we boiled them and after that we add in the meat to boiled at slow fire for 50 minutes and it is then ready to be served.

It is simply easy. After cooked, you can add in the packet of sauce given and let it boiled for 10 minutes. Add in the vegetables or mushroom that you love. Let it simmer a while and you can enjoy them.

They are so simple to cook and very aromatic. I love the herbs taste of it and every mouthful is so delicious that I am going to stock up a few more at home!
