To eat

Helmed by Piedmont-native Chef Francesco Gava, Lucciola Restaurant & Bar is offering diners a specially curated five-course Valentine’s Day menu of some of the Italian eatery’s most popular dishes. After an amuse bouche of Freshly Shucked Oyster with Black Pepper & Amalfi Lemon Sauce and a refreshing Alaskan King Crab, Fennel & Cucumber Salad to prime your palate, a creamy Parsnip, Black Mussels and Chervil soup is served to warm your stomach. Guests can choose from a choice of three main courses: the ultra-tender U.S. Prime Beef Ribeye Steak, umami-packed Chilean Sea Bass with Seashell Fish Broth, and the vegetarian-friendly Piedmont-style Ravioli with Impossible Meat. The romantic meal ends on a sweet note with Chef Francesco’s signature traditional Tiramisu, which in Italian translates to “pick me up” or “cheer me up” – perfect for this extra sweet occasion.

Lucciola’s Valentine’s Day menu is priced at HK$1,088 for two. Free-flow beverage package is available at a supplement of HK$288 per person.

Over at Zoku Restaurant & Terrace, Chef Phillip Pak’s refreshing take on Japanese cuisine that focuses on quality and ingenuity shines through in its five-course Valentine’s Day menu. To start, an amuse bouche of Japanese Oyster with Uni and Ponzu whets the appetite, followed by a fresh, tangy starter of Yellowtail Sashimi with Pickled Radish, Yuzu Soy and Serrano. Next is Wagyu Dumplings, a simple yet hearty dish that has received rave reviews since the restaurant’s opening. Diners can then choose between a choice of three main courses, including Chilean Seabass with Sautéed Brussel Sprouts, Yuzu Herb Butter and Oyster Cream; Beef Tenderloin with Seared Foie Gras and Spicy Miso Sauce; and Soba Noodles with Soy Cream, Fried Tofu and Crispy Shallot. A light and refreshing dessert of Japanese Strawberry Ice Cream concludes this satisfying Valentine’s Day meal.

Zoku’s Valentine’s Day menu is priced at HK$1,288 for two. Sake pairing is available at a supplement of HK$488 per person.

Lucciola and Zoku’s Valentine’s Day menus are only available on February 13 & 14, 2021. The above prices are subject to 10% service charge. For full menus, please refer to the appendix.
