In conjunction with International Coffee Day, McDonald’s Malaysia is letting Malaysians have a taste of its quality espresso-based McCafé coffee by giving away 100,000 free Iced Lattes in October. The free Iced Lattes will be up for grabs exclusively via McDelivery.
“Malaysians love coffee and with McCafé, our guests can always expect a great cup of coffee in the warm and inviting atmosphere of McDonald’s they know and love, any time of the day. So, this International Coffee Day, we’re excited to kickstart a special month-long treat for all our customers nationwide, during which they can enjoy exclusive deals on different McCafé beverages,” said Hajjah Melati Abdul Hai, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s Malaysia.
“Not only that, we are making our McCafé beverages accessible to all by making them available through our convenient channels namely Drive-Thru and McDelivery. Ever since we launched our first McCafé in Malaysia back in 2012, we have received unwavering support from our customers, who have continuously enjoyed our range of quality coffee,” added Melati.
McCafé coffees are made from 100% premium quality Arabica beans, medium-dark roasted and freshly ground. Every cup is prepared upon customer’s order to ensure freshness and to maintain its flavours. All drinks and desserts also meet Halal and food safety standards and are certified by the Department of Islamic Development (JAKIM). Coffee beans used to make espresso-based beverages at McCafé are also sustainably sourced from Halal-certified suppliers.
McCafé beverages, which are prepared by our professionally trained baristas, are offered from RM5.99 so that all Malaysians can enjoy high quality, great-tasting espresso coffee at great value.
“At McDonald’s, we are always introducing new McCafé drinks to add onto our wide range of beverages, so that our customers can try different types of our premium espresso-based coffee at any of the 296 McCafés nationwide,” said Melati.
On top of the 100,000 free Iced Lattes that are up for grabs, McDonald’s Malaysia will also offer additional McCafé deals throughout the month, which include free Americano during Breakfast Hour at McDonald’s Drive-Thru restaurants and only RM1.99 to redeem a medium-sized Iced Latte through the McDonald’s app. On top of that, there will also be coffee samplings and irresistible coffee deals in-store.
