InterContinental Kuala Lumpur, The First IHG Hotel to Launch A Limited-Edition Sustainable Care Kit for Its Guests

October 20, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

As the world adjusts to new travel norms and expectations, IHG® Hotels & Resorts has launched a global IHG Clean Promise programme to enhance the experience for its hotel guests around the world, by redefining cleanliness and supporting guests’ personal wellbeing throughout their stay.

And this time, we get to try this beautiful done product by Intercontintal Kuala Lumpur. And this time, one can grab the beautiful mask from the hotel!

Made from 100% cotton, the reusable masks are available in three limited-edition designs. Each of these care kits come with disposable PM2.5 filter for the facemask, disinfectant wipes, hand sanitiser and packed in a classy canvas drawstring bag.

The Limited-Edition Care Kits are complimentary for guests who are checking-in to InterContinental Kuala Lumpur’s Club room and suite categories. Walk-in guests can purchase the Limited-Edition Care Kits at RM45 per set from the Front Desk, restaurants or the hotel’s e-store: https://intercontinental-kuala-lumpur-online-store.myshopify.com

As facemask-wearing becomes mandatory in line with the new norm, guests will be joining hands with InterContinental Kuala Lumpur in contributing and supporting social responsibility while staying safe!

InterContinental Kuala Lumpur is committed to IHG Clean Promise and has scored 100% on IHG Cleanliness Verification Audit and was also awarded the “Clean & Safe Malaysia” Hygiene & Safety Label certification by the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) and Bureau Veritas, supported by Ministry of Travel, Arts & Culture (MOTAC).

“The certification and accreditation by the national stakeholders will enhance guest confidence and trust in InterContinental Kuala Lumpur’s commitment to cleanliness, hygiene and safety practices,’’ said Mr. Simon Soo, General Manager.
