Inside Scoop celebrate Mid Autumn with Ice Cream Mooncake

September 7, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Inside Scoop is always my family’s favorite place when it comes to ice cream. And for this Mid-Autumn Festival, Inside Scoop is back again with their unique ice cream mooncake which is definitely makes you fall in love for sure.

Famed for their ice creams, their mooncakes is definitely our favourites where in Inside Scoops one can enjoy the delectable mooncake with choices of the classic snow skin mooncake and also their uniquely-shaped white chocolate shell that comes with vibrant colors. This year, they are bringing back their best-selling mooncake flavours and an all new crowd favourite flavour!

Durian (with chocolate yolk)
A MUST TO HAVE! Famed for their Durian ice cream, Inside Scoop’s offers you with their signature flavour – Durian Mooncake which comes with the chocolate yolk and wrapped in the
Inside Scoop’s signature flavour is sure to satiate every durian lover’s appetite. The Durian mooncake comes with the perfect indulgence and each mouthful is heavenly!

Caramel Biscuit (with chocolate salted caramel lava yolk)
The popular Lotus Biscoff caramel biscuit ice cream is paired with a chocolate salted caramel lava yolk, encased in a velvet-sprayed white chocolate shell. I am loving the flavours so much and they are superbly delicious with the creamy caramel blend in it.

Rocher (with crunchy base)
Another must try is their Chocolate Hazelnut which is perfectly our team favourites. The creamy based chocolate just like Nutella ice cream; and it is beautifully layered with the crunchy nutty base that will literally send you to the moon and back. The Chocolate Hazelnut is beautifully encased with the white chocolate shell and then with the velvet spray finish. A beautifully mooncake to go for.

Unicorn (with raspberry yolk)
The Unicorn Mooncake is our home favourite and this is definitely Grace’s favorite. It is one of the most instagrammable piece of mooncake, made with millennials in mind. Their Unicorn flavour gained popularity for its sweet and tangy combination of blue milk ice cream (stained with blue pea flower) and Raspberry Yoghurt ice cream. This mooncake has a raspberry center, and is wrapped in white snow skin. It’s a sure-win in the appearance and personality department.

Due to last year’s astounding response on Supermoon, Inside Scoop will be bringing back its’ 7.5 inch ice cream mooncake! With this exciting range of handcrafted ice cream mooncakes, Inside Scoop believes that there is a flavour for everyone, and this year’s mooncakes is sure to be enjoyed by all Malaysians. The Supermoon is bigger-than-your-face and is a supersized 7.5” inch snow skin mooncake that is perfect to be shared in big groups!

Made with Inside Scoop’s ultra-creamy and double premium Pistachio ice cream (Pistachios from Sicily, Italy), this mooncake is layered with raspberry jelly center, on top of a crunchy chocolate base meticulously wrapped in a marble-like yellow snow skin.
Apart from the handcrafted ice cream mooncakes that are readily available, Inside Scoop challenges everyone to get first-hand experience in making snow skin mooncakes at home, by introducing a Mooncake DIY Kit. The #insidescoopmooncakechallenge is the ultimate test on agility and creativity by making one’s own snow skin ice cream mooncake and sharing it with friends and family.
