RM 7.50 ONLY Banana Leaf @ Banana Bro, Sri Petaling

August 24, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Bananabro is one of the place to go for your banana leaf fix. The modern banana leaf restaurant brings you with the modern, and yet authentic taste of banana leaf in here. And this time, we spotted one of their outlets in Sri Petaling which is just a couple of block away from McDonalds. The restaurant brings you with the clean and yet spacious sitting space. As we went during RMCO, social distancing is well practiced with mask and the cleanliness is maintained.

Being here, one of the must try of course is their Banana Leaf rice for sure. Affordably priced at RM 7.90 ( only at Sri Petaling) ; one can enjoy the filling banana leaf which completed with rrice, three varieties of freshly prepared vegetables to four choices of curries (chicken, fish, dal and a curry of the day), papadam, rasam and yogurt. And you can opt to upgrade your rice to briyani rice as well.  I am loving the hearty Banana Leaf Rice where each mouthful of the rice comes simply fragrance and good. They are such an indulgence and I am just falling in love with it so much!

While you are enjoying the wholesome banana leaf rice, one can enjoy the hearty and yet delighting sides. You can savor a wide variety of dishes which will definitely makes you coming back for more!

Not just that, you can top up your meals with some adds-on of meats , fish or even seafood. One must have includes their juicy tempting mutton (RM 9.90). They are superbly tender and juicy!

Butter Chicken (RM 7.50)
Don’t miss out their butter chicken. It is one of the best seller where the chicken is beautifully marinated in spices and cream and then it is dressed in velvety butter curry.

Chicken 65 ( RM 7.50)
Chicken 65 is another you can go for where they are the classic of Bananabro. The classic deep fried chicken packed with the umph and the boneless chicken is such a perfect addiction to have.

Fried Squid Rings (RM 9.90)
Never missed out their fried squid rings too. One can have their awesome deep fried golden squid rings that comes so juicy with the absolute indulgence.

Want some curry, go for their Claypot Series. One can enjoy the variety of the claypot series from the Curry Fish Head, Prawn Masala, Asam Pedas Prawn and Tenggiri Giri. Their claypot are really good especially the prawn masala where they are packed with the creamy base and fresh ingredients.

For those who are looking for some delighting and spicy sensation delights, is time to visit Bananabro for an awesome experience of banana leaf rice now!
