Fun & Nature Explore Package at Resorts World Awana for the month of August 2020!

August 13, 2020 By StrawberrY Gal - Travel News Leave a Comment

For those who have been at home for months on end, a change of scenery awaits as Resorts World Genting is offering a Fun & Nature Package with a special price from RM125 per person on twin sharing basis. The package promises an unforgettable trip for two including a one night stay at Resorts World Awana, a scrumptious meal, guided jungle trekking and Awana Skyway return tickets. The package is available for a limited time only on 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29 August 2020.

Guests can first check in for a one night’s stay at Resorts World Awana, a tranquil getaway spot surrounded by an 18-hole golf course with undulating green lawns for leisurely games of golf, a heated swimming pool and children pool. The package also includes a meal for two at the High Line Rooftop Market where they can choose to have a classic burger or Big Bangkok Burger with a soft drink in an alfresco dining space. Pizza lovers can choose the Motorino Pizzeria instead, which serves up Large 18” Margherita or Amatriciana authentic Neapolitan pizza. Visitors will be able to enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the lush greenery by taking a ride on the Awana SkyWay with return tickets for two. The ticket also includes a free stop at the Chin Swee Station which is a short walk to the Chin Swee Caves Temple, a unique religious site encompassed by a breathtaking landscape of the rainforest.

The highlight of the trip is the guided jungle trekking for two through the Conservation Trail located nearby the hotel, perfect for nature lovers and those simply searching for peace and serenity. It is a perfect opportunity to get in touch with nature in the 130-million-year-old tropical rainforest, which is a collaboration between Treks Nature Academia and Resorts World Genting. Visitors can take a laid-back stroll along the 800 metre Conservation Trail located in the Upper Dipterocarp Forest elevation at 3000 feet above sea level at the Awana Bio Park. Along the way, an Encyclopedic Walk offers visitors opportunity to learn about the rich biodiversity of the Montane Timber Forest and its habitat.

Lucky trekkers with a keen eye may spot some of the wildlife that call the rainforest their home including endangered species such as the serow wild mountain goat and the siamang or the black panther, red-headed krait snake and dusky leaf monkeys. Rare species such as the towering timber tree altingia excelsa, bountiful schizostachyum bamboo plants, massive strangler fig trees and a variety of rattan species can also be found from the forest canopy. 60 species of native birds that reside in the Upper Dipterocarp Forest elevation such as eagles, hornbills, woodpeckers will thrill avid birdwatchers, with the section of the forest having been recognised by the Malaysian Nature Society and Birdlife International as the Awana Important Bird Area.

To comply with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) introduced by the government, visitors are required to wear face masks at all times. Upon entry and departure at the hotel entrance, visitors must check-in to the venue by scanning the QR code using the MySejahtera app and have their temperatures checked. Visitors are also advised to use the hand sanitisers provided when necessary. Physical distancing measures must be observed by visitors throughout the duration of the activity by keeping one to two metres distance from each other at all times.
