A Pizza Heart for Frontline Supermoms

May 9, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

This year, Mother’s Day will be looking a little different, but that’s no reason to not celebrate the most important women in our lives- while they might not be the ‘Ketua Rumah’ (head of the house) at home, they are definitely the Heart of the Nation whose selfless love helps Malaysians cope in this pandemic.

Through the Pizza Hut Mother’s Day campaign, Pizza Hut has delivered Pizza Hearts to the courageous mothers who selflessly risk their lives out there to care for fellow Malaysians, while having to care and provide for their own family.

A heart-shaped pizza complete with a personal note is sent to these courageous mothers, ranging from riders, doctors, nurses and police officers as an act to recognise their selfless love and care.

This loving gesture was arranged by Pizza Hut to highlight to Malaysians how selfless the love and care that mothers demonstrate. It is this selfless love that brings the family and nation together to cope and win in this pandemic.

“During this unprecedented time of restricted movement order, mothers have become the prominent heroes in providing food and care for their family, with many having to juggle to work-from-home, and not to mention the mothers who also risk their lives out there as frontlines to care for the nation.

These fearless mothers are the true definition of selfless love. Their selfless act of love give us hope and strength to overcome this pandemic together,” said Emily Chong, Chief Marketing Officer of Pizza Hut Malaysia.

“While being the Ketua Rumah is important, we should recognise and celebrate the essential roles that wives and mothers play in the household- truly, they represent the head of the house, and are the heart of the house. What better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than to bring home a heart shaped pizza to the most important women in our lives.”

“We hope that this Pizza Heart campaign will be able to highlight the power of selfless love and therefore encourage more Malaysians to do the same. We also hope that this pizza creation will bring smiles to the wonderful mothers out there,” she added.

Pizza Heart is available for delivery and takeaway nationwide until 17 May 2020 or while stocks last. You can enjoy Pizza Heart from RM36.50 a la carte, while combo options are also available. Please opt for our No-Touch Delivery and No-Touch Takeaway at Pizza Hut App or Website to enjoy your favourite pizzas in the safest contact-free manner.
