Recipe: Pad Kra Pao ( Basil Pork)

April 2, 2020 By StrawberrY Gal - Mains, Recipe Leave a Comment

Pad Kra Pao is some of the great dishes to go for. I always love the kick of spiciness  and this dish is addictively good.

Ingredients

✅ 200 g of minced pork
✅ 7 cloves Garlic
✅ 100 g  Holy basil
✅ 3 Shallots
✅ 3 Thai bird chilies
✅ 1 tbsp Fish sauce
✅ 2 tsp Oyster sauce
✅ 1 tbsp Soy sauce, thin light
✅ 2 tsp Soy sauce, dark
✅ 1 tsp Sugar
✅ 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
✅ 1/3 cup of water

Method:
1. In a wok over medium high heat, add the oil, shallots and garlic, and fried them. Add the chilies and cook for another minute. Add in the minced pork till it is perfectly fragrant.

2. Add in the sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and oyster sauce. Stir-fry for a while and then add in the water

3. Then add in the basil, and stir-fry.
