
Onde Onde is always my childhood favorites and it is just perfect for snacks. Since I am a big fans of onde onde, I decided to make them at home during RMO
INGREDIENTS
- 250 g Glutinous Rice Flour
- 250 ml Pandan Juice
- 150 g Gula Melaka, Palm Sugar, finely chopped
- 150 g Grated Coconut
- pinch Sea Salt
Method :
- In a large bowl , combined the glutinous rice flour with the pandan juice and knead it till perfect
- Drop them in to the boiling water ( each dough abiut 40g). Once the dough rice in the surface, shake off the excess water
- Mix back and knead well till you form a smooth dough
- Set the dough aside around 15 minutes
- Mix the grated coconut with a pinch of salt and let it steam
- On the other pot flatten the small dough and added in the palm sugar. Then cook the glutinous ball in the boiling water till it float. Remove the excess water
- Coat the rice ball with the grated coconut and served
