
In the presence of H.E Cristiano Maggipinto, the Ambassador of Italy in Kuala Lumpur, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), Global Pacific Victory (M) Sdn Bhd (GPV) and Euro-Atlantic Sdn Bhd (EA) come together for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony for “The Week of Authentic Italian Food Excellence” initiative.

The signing ceremony took place at the Ambassador’s residence on the 2nd of March 2020, along with Dr Samuele Porsia, Trade Commissioner representing the Italian Trade Agency of Kuala Lumpur, Mr Alex Liew, Managing Director for Global Pacific Victory (M) Sdn Bhd and Ms Ebby Loo, Managing Director for Euro-Atlantic Sdn Bhd. Mr Teng Yew Huat and Mr Daniel Teng from Trendcell Sdn Bhd (Jaya Grocer) who will be the venue host of this initiative were present to witness the moment.
The main objective of the initiative is to promote authentic Italian products to the Malaysia market via the concept of “Eat healthy, Taste Italy”. The campaign is set to be launched on the 7th of April 2020 followed by a roadshow at the concourse area of the Intermark Mall Kuala Lumpur, from the 6th to the 19th of April 2020. In this effort, it is planned to bring in least 25 new Italian brands and products into the market. The collaboration is a continuous effort built on the complementary strengths, experiences, networks and resources of the three signatories.
