Peraduan Nestlé Gaji Seumur Hidup First 150 Malaysians Win Weekly RM500 Cash Prizes

March 27, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Nestlé Malaysia today announced the first 150 weekly winners of its latest and largest nationwide contest yet, Peraduan Nestlé Gaji Seumur Hidup (Nestlé ‘Salary for Life’ contest)!

At a moment difficult for Malaysia and for the world, Nestlé is happy to share good news with Malaysians through this contest. Walking away with cash prizes of RM500 each, totalling RM75,000, the winners were from diverse backgrounds, from all across Malaysia and ranging from 22 to 70 years in age.

To date, more than 220,000 contest entries have been submitted, and Malaysians still have many more opportunities to fulfill their dreams and ease their burdens.

Quotes from the weekly winners:

Nurdiana Binti Haji Bakri, a 37-year old computer programmer from Ipoh, Perak, was thrilled to win not only one, but two weekly prizes! She shared, “I submitted close to 100 entries so I guess I had many chances to win! If I won a Salary for Life, it will certainly help with our children’s education as there is nothing more important than to see our children succeed. Additionally, it will help me on my journey to perform Hajj with my family.”

Another weekly winner, Mr Ravi Kumar A/L Govindaroju, a 34-year old accountant from Rawang, commented, “As I had submitted just one single entry for the competition, it came as quite a surprise when I became one of the weekly winners! I am truly thankful for this prize money as it will aid me with my monthly expenses, which include caring for my mother who has diabetes. My dream is to be able to purchase a house of my own one day and I will definitely be submitting more entries to be in the running to win a ‘Salary for Life!’”

Mr Teng Wei Kiong, a shop owner aged 40, from Sarikei, Sarawak said, “After learning about the contest, I submitted around 20 entries by buying KIT KAT, MILO and NESCAFÉ products, which are some of my family’s favourite products. Having won the weekly prize makes me very content and I hope that I will be able to win the grand prize and utilise it for my children’s education.”

Harun Bin Wahab, aged 57, from Negeri Sembilan also said, “My daughter helped the whole family submit entries for the contest, as we all enjoy MILO almost every day at home. Winning this was truly unexpected. As I am currently in between jobs, my funds are limited, so this prize money will help. I plan to submit many more entries to hopefully win the grand prize and save up the money for my family.”

Peraduan Nestlé Gaji Seumur Hidup offers cash prizes worth up to RM4 million, whereby two lucky Grand Prize winners will receive a ‘Salary for Life’ of RM3,000 every month, and 10 Consolation Prize winners that will take home a ‘Salary for a Year’ of RM3,000 every month. Meanwhile, cash prizes of RM500 will be given out to 50 winners every week throughout the contest duration.

With these first 150 winners, the dream starts to materialise ahead of the announcement of the 10 Yearly Salary Winners and our final event in June 2020 to award the Salary for Life prizes!

During this time, consumers at home who wish to participate in this contest can easily purchase Nestlé products on e-commerce websites such as Lazada and Shopee, and entries can be submitted via Whatsapp. Consumers can also keep their receipts and submit entries via post. To take part, consumers only need to purchase a minimum of RM15 worth of participating Nestlé products in a single receipt and answer a simple question.
