#MiyagiSays @ Damansara Utama : The Fusion Japanese Temptations

March 1, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Recently, we visited a nice bar and restaurant in Damansara Utama. #MiyagiSays is one of our recent visit where the restaurant and bar brings you with the different concepts of dining. #MiyagiSays is a curation of Japanese fusion restaurant and bar with affordable and  delicious food, like a Japanese mamak setting.

Let’s start our dining here where their menu comes with extensive selection with the fusion touch in it.

Yong Tau Fu Oden (RM 16)

One of the must to try here is the Yong Tau Fu Oden. Enjoy the Japanese Style Oden but with a twist. In here, you can enjoy the chicken meat yong tau fu which includes the fu chok, bitter gourd, chili, taufu and more. It is served hot and every mouthful of the meat remains its juiciness.

Luncheon Katsu (RM 11)

The Luncheon Katsu is one of my favourites. I am just loving how the Luncheon Katsu is made where it gives me a taste of home with the layered of egg and the luncheon meat. It is beautifully deep fried till perfections with the crispy bites.

Furai Banjir (RM 14)

Meant for sharing but obviously not for me. I am digging it all the way where the golden fries is served with the Malaysian version of curry. The blend of spiciness is something to look forward and every mouthful is addictively good.  What’s more is with the top of an onsen egg, it makes the overall dish creamy and delicious.

Japanese Mee Goreng (RM 15)

The Japanese Mee Goreng is another highlight. We love how they use soba instead of yellow noodle to stir fried. Burst with umphh.. the mee goreng is really appetizing with the kick of umph!

Tandoori Chicken

Lettuce Wrap

One can enjoy some nibbles with a cup of their signature Miyagi Highball. Grab your choice of yakitori where they have the delicious tender tandoori chicken, lettuce wrap, pork shoulder, “bak kwa” Pork belly and many more. Don’t miss out their Miyagi Highball and Henny Highball where they bring you with the light, refreshing and tasty blend at the same time.

Onigiri Curry Chicken

The Onigiri Curry Chicken comes with the aromatic bursting sensation. I am loving the juiciness of the crispy chicken with the Japanese rice below. With the creamy curry top on top, every mouthful is divinely good!

For those who are loving a twist of Japanese delights with the combination of highball, here is the place.

Or you can enjoy some sake, whisky or even their cocktails.
