Malaysia’s First Yakult Ice Cream

We’ve all tried the durian ice cream and of course, the ubiquitous red bean ais krim potong.
But what about a Yakult ice cream?

FROZEN, the artisanal ice cream chain that brought us unique Malaysian flavours such as Kaya Toast, Pulut Hitam, Milo Dinasaur and Musang King ice creams, has launched Malaysia’s first Yakult ice cream in an exclusive collaboration with the famed Japanese probiotics drinks brand.

William Ng, founder of FROZEN and Kee Joo Lee, senior leader of science and PR for Yakult Malaysia unveiled the collaboration with two products: the Yakult Ace Ice Cream and the Flu Buster, which contains Yakult, Vitamin C and anti-oxidant rich blueberries.

“We are excited to bring to Malaysians another flavour that Malaysians have grown up with. As a home-grown ice cream brand, we are constantly researching new products that will excite the Malaysian palate, while bringing the art of ice-cream making in Malaysia to an ever higher level”, Ng said.

“Everyone is familiar with Yakult. Every bottle of Yakult contains over 30 live Shirota strain. Yakult can be consumed daily to protect our gut health and to boost our immune system. This collaboration is a delicious new way to consume Yakult”, added Kee.

Yakult Ace Ice Cream and the Flu Buster can be purchased at all FROZEN outlets, including Bangsar Telawi, SS2 Petaling Jaya, Paradigm Mall Petaling Jaya and Berjaya Times Square Kuala Lumpur.
