Bakpia is one of the musts to bring home if you are visiting Yogyakarta. And one of the famous brands is of course the Bakpai Pathok 25 which has been operated since 1948.
Located at Desa Pathuk where it is just behind the Jalan Malioboro, this outlet is famed for their delicious tempting biscuits. We learned that Bakpia is one of the foods which is originated from the Tionghua heritage. It is introduced back in 1947 which is well known by the name of Tau Luk Pia (green bean sweet roll) which is famed within the village called Pathok on the outskirts of Yogjakarta.
And in here, one can grab the wide selection of flavours ranging from chocolate, cheese, pineapple, durian and black beans.
They do not use any preservative substance, so make sure you finish them in less than a week after purchase.
