ONE WORLD HOTEL PETALING JAYA IS LOVING THIS CHRISTMAS!

December 21, 2019 By StrawberrY Gal - Hotel News Leave a Comment

Christmas magic sparkles up at One World Hotel Petaling Jaya as the establishment pulled out all the stops in its efforts to transform the grand lobby area into a festive wonderland.

Children and the young at heart are bound to be enchanted by a 12 feet live pine tree, gingerbread house and Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer and his sleigh-pulling gang. The atmosphere and majestic decors were further enhanced and bedecked with LED lights, shiny colourful baubles, wreaths, tinsels and present boxes all predominantly in blue and silver colour.

The sweet scent of gingerbread lingers in our festively decorated lobby. The intricate gingerbread house is composed of staggering amounts of real ingredients and takes the pastry team, led by Chef Yap Wai Keong weeks to prepare. Also contributed in the undertaking were the hotel’s in – house kitchen artist, Chef Chai Kuen Yit, Engineering and Housekeeping departments.

“We shy away from the traditional red and gold as it would be too similar to Chinese New Year’s decor” said Feryal Mufti, Public Relations Manager of the hotel. It took approximately 48 hours to assemble the sophisticated work of art, and it will be up until Jan 2, 2020.
