The Festive Magic of Christmas and New Year Has Been Sprinkled At Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel

Get into the spirit of the festive season and celebrate it in style with Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel. Tis’ season, the hotel is decked in magical, merry and bright backdrop to host festive get-togethers, evening soirees, Christmas parties and family retreat.

The annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony officially marks the start of the holiday season. It was officiated on the evening of 20 November 2019 by General Manager, Bipan Kapur, and joined by notable city guests along with guests residing at the hotel.

This Christmas marks a new beginning for the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel with a newly renovated lobby, restaurant and public areas. The refreshed lobby reignites the wonders of the season with sights, scents and flavors that warms the heart. Ringing with peals of delightful Christmas carols, mouth-watering aroma of a live-size Gingerbread House and traditional Christmas decoration throughout the lobby, it sets the tone for the most magical time of the year.

This year, guests can celebrate the holiday season with a festive indulgence and exciting activities for all.

From scrumptious menus and buffets, decadent festive takeaway and gifts, special staycation offers and lively celebration to welcome the New Year, there is something for everyone to delight in at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel.

CHRISTMAS EVE DINNER
Delight in a heart-warming buffet dinner with a plethora of festive favorites and season highlights. Relish in a sumptuous buffet spread featuring Executive Chef Edmund Ng’s festive creations from whole roasted turkey with home-made stuffing, 6-hour slow-roast Australian prime rib eye, Atlantic salmon sashimi and local favorites from freshly baked tandoori chicken to gulai pedas. End your extravagant dinner on a sweet note with homemade Yule log, Paris Brest, Christmas pudding, chocolate fondue and more.

CHRISTMAS DAY BRUNCH
In keeping with the Yuletide spirit, please your palate with an Asian and Western-inspired brunch. Gastronomic highlights include luscious roast turkey with home-made stuffing, grilled lobster,  Australian Black Angus beef as well as a selection of Christmas goodies and traditional Christmas pudding.

Christmas carols will be available on Christmas Eve at the hotel’s grand staircase and Santa Clause will be making a special appearance for the little ones.

FESTIVE SPECIALS

The Evolution Café will be having a month-long festive special a la carte menu for your indulgence. Enjoy seasonal favorites from creamy chestnut soup, poached asparagus with home-cured salmon, roasted turkey roulade with foie gras, pan fried Atlantic black cod with gnocchi to warm Christmas pudding with berries and mini-pandan Yule log with shredded coconut and chocolate sauce.

NEW YEAR’S EVE DINNER
Ring in the New Year at our poolside party. A decadent feast of international and local delights featuring extensive live stations awaits you and your family by the outdoor poolside deck on level 4. Help yourself with unlimited servings of barbecued New Zealand whole lamb, oysters from Europe, slow-roasted Australian striploin and local favorites of 8-hour slow-braised rendang tok, freshly grilled Kajang satay, traditional ice-cream potongs and more. The evening continues with a New Year Eve Countdown Party by the poolside and it will feature a DJ and live entertainment that is sure to light up the evening with fun and merriment.

The poolside party is subjected to weather conditions. In the event of an unfavorable weather, the party will be moved to an indoor venue.


HANDCRAFTED FESTIVE TAKEAWAYS
Sprinkle the festive magic to your own Christmas celebrations with gourmet takeaway treats including succulent roasts, handcrafted Yule logs and fruitcakes, as well as a medley of confectionaries and a Yuletide Hamper. These festive takeaway items will be available at the festive desk, lobby level of Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel at 10:00am to 6:00pm daily from 20 November 2019 onwards. An advanced order of one days is required for roast and hampers.

Sink your teeth in a traditional whole roasted turkey with chestnut stuffing for a hassle-free celebration at home and complete the festive feast with additional takeaway favorites such as slow-roasted leg of lamb, oven-roasted beef striploin and home-cured salmon.

End your meal on a sweet note with traditional Christmas pudding, Yule log, gingerbread house, fruit cake, Christmas stolen, Christmas cookies, panettone and more.

CHRISTMAS STAYCATION
