Exceptional entertainers wanted for the next big unveiling at Resorts World Genting

November 14, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

If you’re an enthusiastic, energetic, and extraordinary performer, Resorts World Genting wants you! Skilled singers, dancers, and mascot performers are welcome to audition to be a part of the opening cast of Malaysia’s imaginative and soon-to-debut theme park, on November 17.

One-day auditions in the country will take place on Sunday at Sole to Soul Dance Studio, Petaling Jaya. Interested entertainers are encouraged to first create a profile and register for an audition at www.gentingauditions.com before the date of auditions.

Auditions for Technical Dancers, Commercial Dancers, and Character Performers will begin at 1.00 PM, followed by Triple Threats (Singer/Actor/Dancer) and Singers Who Can Act & Learn Choreography at 4.00 PM.

Dancers auditioning for the first category must be skilled in a musical theatre style of dance with the ability to lip-sync, and should possess high stamina and expressive faces, while versatility, the proficiency to execute hip-hop and jazz, and ability to learn styles of Latin and samba dancing, on top of a fun, family-friendly personality are sought from Commercial Dancers.

Meanwhile, dancers comfortable connecting with audiences at close proximity and interested for spots as Character Performers should be highly motivated to bring costumed characters (mascots) to life and be able to tell stories through movement and choreography.

Performers auditioning for leading characters a.k.a Triple Threats, on the other hand, should exude the spirit of classic Hollywood, while the last-mentioned category seeks dynamic singers with a pop/rock sound and an air of Americana in their speech.

It should be noted that every entertainer must be at the audition venue an hour early for registration. Successful candidates can look forward to attractive packages with benefits, besides joining and making history with Resort World Genting’s thrilling theme park family.

Resort World Genting’s search for talent this November will also be happening in Melbourne on 21 November, Brisbane on 22 November, and Manila on 24 November.  For applicants from Manila, please visit www.tinyurl.com/rwgentingauditionsph for registration.
