Aftermeal @ Damansara Utama: The Best Desserts in PJ?

November 17, 2019 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review, Invited Review Leave a Comment

I have been crazy about desserts recently and I found this dessert shop which makes me went crazy about it. And this dessert shop is located in Damansara Uptown offerings you with both cold and hot desserts. And some of the highlights here includes the Kakigori ( shaved ice), glutinous rice balls, as well as hot desserts.

Iron Lady Milk Tea Kakigori (RM22.00)

One of the musts to have here is the Iron Lady Kakigori. The Lady Kakigori brings you with the delighting flavours of the Oolong Tea. And according to Mr Pei, he mentioned that they are using the Tieguanyin which is more premium and good tea.  The taste is just awesome and I am totally in love with the kakigori as they are really smooth in texture and fluffy as well. The kakigori is completes with the almond flakes on the top and grass jelly at the bottom. The shaved ice is also smooth which makes me wanting for more. And they are side with the boba and taro ( made in house).

Classic Calamansi Yokan (RM16)

Next is the Calamansi Yokan (RM16) which definitely win my hearts for sure! . A twist from the Taiwanese “Ai Yu Bing”, their Calamansi Yokan brings me with the citrus blend which is rich and refreshing. We understand that the shaved ice itself is made from the calamansi and this makes the taste of the taste of calamansi remains till the last drop. The Jelly combined with the lemon slices , longan , honey sea coconut and passion fruit popping pearls is just perfect to my tastebuds and becoming one of my favorite dish to go!

Classic Grass Jelly (RM16.00)

You never go wrong with this classic delight. And in Aftermeal, you can definitely enjoy till the fullest with the generous portion of goodies which comes with the red bean, almond slices and the grass jelly. The grass jelly is my favourite where it comes with the light hint of herbal taste in it. And what’s more is it is sides with the taro and boba by the side.

Bentong Ginger Soup with Black Sesame Glutinous Rice Ball (RM16.00)

Filled up your tummy with some hot and hearty bowl of ginger soup. They are served hot with the kick of gingery taste that I love. And what’s more is their deliciously packed glutinous rice bowls stuffed with the fragrant black sesame. Awesomely good.

And one can also enjoy a wide variety of beverages as well as kakigori here too. This is definitely my favorite outlet now. Try them now !
