Xian Ji Hong Kong Hotpot @ Ampang: The HK Style Hotpot

October 9, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Being a big fan of Hotpot, I am so happy when I am having hotpot today. And this time, we are trying the Hong Kong Style Hotpot.  The Hong Kong style Hotpot basically featuring their signature “Gai Bo” which is where you can enjoy the hotpot as it is with the chicken broth and later add in the grains to cook and have it as porridge.

And in Xian Ji Hong Kong Hotpot, they brings you with their signature Gai Bo Soup.  And in here one must try is of course their Signature Fish Maw and Chicken Soup. This signature soup is cooked for more than 10 hours and what’s special here is they are using charcoal in their hotpot instead of gas.

Asides from this, you can try their choice of other broth such as their Pork Bone Soup, Tasty Tomato Soup and Chengdu Spicy Soup with an option of “Ying Yang” for 2 soup in one pot.

You can enjoy your hotpot together with your favorite ingredients which includes beef strips, prawns, pork belly, meatballs, fish balls, fried tofu skin, dumplings, fish paste and more.

We understand that their fish paste is made in house daily to ensure the quality of the item itself. And of course, we are totally falling in love with the hotpot which comes simply delicious and packed with flavours. Asides from the flavours, the hotpot brings you with great health benefits too.

After enjoying the hotpot and nearly to the finishing, we are then being served with the plate of rice with vegetables, minced prawns and oysters. Pour them all together into the hotpot and let it cooked. The porridge comes awesomely good and completed with the flavours.
