October 8, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Sushi King, which has always brought the many flavours and cultures of the Land of the Rising Sun to Malaysia, today unveiled its latest promotion where patrons get to enjoy Japanese Soul Food and stand a chance to win a trip to Mount Fuji.

In conjunction with the famous Niku Day celebrations in Japan, diners can look forward to an array of new Niku, or meat, dishes from 1st October to 31st December 2019 at Sushi King outlets in Malaysia. A total of 16 “soul food” dishes, featuring various types of Niku, is offered for Japanese food lovers to savour. These include Smoked Duck Nanban, Cheesy Oyako Don, Tobikko Gyu Don, Niku Kiryu Don, Chicken Trio Bento, Teriyaki Chicken Gunkan, Teriyaki Chicken Nigiri and Chocolate Dorayaki, among others.

In Japan, one of well-known food pun is of the numbers 2 and 9, making up the word “ni-kyuu” which sounds similar to “niku”. This results in the opportunity to celebrate the much-loved Meat Day on every 29th of the month. Interesting?

Experience it yourself at Sushi King, as Niku Day will also be celebrated here in Malaysia on the 29th of every month of this promotion. On this day, diners can earn 29 Smile Points for any Niku dish ordered. This is in addition to the exciting prizes worth a total of RM35,000, including a trip for two to Mount Fuji, Japan offered in the Take Me to Mount Fuji Contest. One would be eligible to participate with a minimum spend of RM60 in a single receipt.

The Niku excitement does not end there. Niku lovers may capture their niku experiences at Sushi King with any one of the Facebook frames and share it on Sushi King’s Facebook page with the hashtag #MyNikuCollection. The first 100 creative submissions will win 200 Smile Points each.

For food to feed the soul, now is the time to pop in to the nearest Sushi King Outlet and experience the exciting flavours of the new Niku dishes! Sushi King ensures quality sushi and other Japanese cuisine at affordable prices.
