Double Tree Resort Penang : A perfect Family Staycation!

Double Tree Resort Penang brings us with a memorable staycation. Located at Batu Ferringhi Penang, the hotel is perfectly set in the northern beach area of Penang and it is just 15-20 minutes ride down to Gurney Drive. With 20 minutes’ drive away from nightlife of Gurney Drive and Batu Feringghi, the hotel is such a great place to stay where it is not too far to travel to eateries and tourist attraction.

We had our 3 day 2 night stay in Penang which is simply memorable. Walking to the lobby, we are greeted with the cute bear and great service by the hotel crew.

Then we are lead to our lovely room overlooking a great view of the beach.

The rooms are completed with the WIFI and private furnished balcony that brings me the awesome sea view.

The room comes simply spacious and the best of it as they have huge toilets with bathtubs and rain shower. They comes with the Crabtree and Evelyn Products. A great space for families where children can have fun and parents can have a relax.

As for their bed, they are so comfortable which I can sleep and rejuvenate all day long. The fluffy pillow is a plus too and we are just loving the overall stay in Double Tree Resort Penang.

The hotel complete with the Children Playing room, Swimming Pool as well as a playground with it. It is pretty much a great space for children where they can full fun here where one can run around, swimming and on playground.

 It is also very convenient for us to go to the beach as well as they are just opposite the hotel. So, for those who want to walk at the sandy bay you can have a stroll along the beach too.

And what’s more is their hotel complete with Instagram friendly arts around which makes it very beautiful. Their huge lobby, their café is a place for pictures and one can grab the chance to have their photos taken there.


Everything comes much perfect with their Teddyville Museum where it is indeed the kids heaven.

Overall, it is indeed a great place for relaxation as a family retreat. I would definitely recommend them to those who are planning for a holiday in Penang!
