Sapore @ Ampang: The NEW Menu

September 19, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Sapore is one of the restaurants which we love whenever it comes to Italian – Spanish food. Their food has never disappointed us where they bring up its quality and their fair price.  Located at the busy streets in Ampang, they serves a vast choices of Spanish delights as well as wine and gin as well.

And this time around, we had visited them again as they had revamped their menu recently.

Mushroom Potato Croquette (RM18)
The Mushroom Potato Croquette is one of their signatures and they are beautifully prepared. The Mushroom croquettes is made with the potatoes and portabello mushroom mix. It is then being added with their truffle oil and garlic mayonnaise in it. After that, it is then battered and deep fried till golden brown.  The dish is awesomely delicious and every mouthful just perfectly melts in the mouth too.

Pork Tortellini with Mushrooms Sauce Truffle Oil (RM38)
Enjoy this deliciously homemade traditional pasta where it is stuffed with the pork and served with the porcini mushroom sauce finish with Parmesan cheese. The dish is awesomely good and love the fragrant porcini mushroom blend in it.

Capellini with Slipper Lobster Tomato Sauce (RM48)
Another must try here. We love how the noodles is done and it is perfectly match with the Slipper Lobster Tomato Sauce. The noodles are fresh with the goodness aromatic blend. Served together with the fresh slipper lobster that will definitely give the dish a umphh!

Pan-fried Baccalà (Cod Fish) Lentil, Salad, Balsamic sauce (RM62)
For fish lover, you should order this. Enjoy the flaky meat of the Atlantic cod which is lightly pan fried. It is then served  together with the lentils beans celary salad on the top and fish with Italy balsamic vinegar

Grilled Pork Neck, Mashed potato (RM48)
And of course, don’t miss out the iberico pork which is marinated with rosmery garlic salt and pepper, grilled and served with truffle mash potato and pork juice on the side. The pork neck is so juicy and tender. Delicious!

Tiramisu
And of course, being in Sapore this is never a missed for me. Their Tiramisu is excellently prepared and it brings you the right hint of cocoa. Awesomely good!

If you are looking for a decent restaurant to dine in Ampang, Sapore is one of my favourite to go for.
