A Joint Culinary Journey of 88 Years with Oriental Group!

Ever since 2008, The Oriental Group embarked on their annual journey to introduce the different dimension of Chinese Cuisine to the public and bringing them to taste a different Chinese cuisine. And this time, Oriental Group brings  the “Old Master” Chef as well as renowned international chefs from famous Cantonese Culinary region such as Hong Kong and Shunde District.
As for this year, they have international renowned Chef Jacky Lam and The Oriental Group Executive Chef Justin Hor has curated a menu showcase their combined 88 years of experience in the industry. Both the renowned chef have work together back in 2011 an this time it is their second time of collaboration. 
APPETIZER
Chilled Szechuan Farm Chicken ( RM 20 / portion)
Grab this delicious Farm Chicken which is perfectly steamed till the meat is moist and juicy and then it is chilled and served together with the bursting flavours of the SzeChuan Sauce.
Oriental Group’s Signature Char Siew ( RM 20 / portion)
The Oriental Group’s Signature Char Siew is just awesome!  The meat is perfectly juicy and they are well coated with the caramelized honey. Yummz! 
Ginger Sauce Jelly Fish ( RM 18 / portion)
The Ginger Sauce Jelly Fish is something worth to order too. The jelly fish texture is so perfect and chewy. Love it! 
Vinaigrette Kyuri & Black Fungus (RM 18/portion)
Sweet and Sourish taste and yet very appetizing
Macau Crab Meat Cake (RM 24 |6 pcs) 
And of course, must have is the Macau Crab Meat Cake which comes amazingly good. The crispy bites at the outside and inside is filled with chunks of crab meat. Yummz!

SOUP
Double Boiled Superior Shark’s Fin Soup with Chicken & Preserved Vegetables (RM 118) 
The bowl of hearty soup where the Chef is using over 30 years old preserved vegetables to double boil the soup. It is simply nutritious and every mouthful is just perfect and divinely good! 
MAIN

Boston Lobster Macau Taipa Style (RM 368)
A taste of Macao Taipa! Chef Jacky Lam explains that this dish inspired from those day fishermen who live in Macao and how they prepared their dish using the marination of salt, pepper, peppercorns and chili. And this time, Chef Jacky Lam improved the taste with his own secret recipes and using premium ingredients to ensure that you can taste the robust flavours of this Boston Lobster. I love how it is done where it brings you with the fragrant peppercorn taste but not too overpowering. The lobster comes fresh and every bites is divinely delicious with the juicy meat! 
Braised Sultan Fish in Shunde Style (RM 388 each)
 Have this flaky and fresh fish which is perfectly steamed. The meat is simply good and the broth is perfectly paired with the fish itself. Sides with the chestnuts and ginger with it. 
Whole Pork Trotter with Hokkaido XL Dried Scallops, Japanese Mushroom & Quill Egg (RM 488| 10 pax) 
Full of collagen and this dish is impressively delicious. The pork trotter is perfectly braided and the flavours with the robust flavours. It is served together with the imported ingredients such as the Hokkaido XL Dried Scallops, Japanese Mushroom & Quill Egg. 

Lotus Leaf Treasure Rice (RM 128 |10 pax)
We end with the aromatic Lotus Leaf Treasure Rice. Fragrantly done, the rice is topped with the generous portion of crab meat in it making the dish more mouthwatering. 
DESSERTS
Peach Raisin with Snow Fungus & Papaya In Coconut (RM 14) 

Sweet Corn Lotus Paste (RM 15) 
Mangosteen Custard Lava (RM 15)
As for the desserts, they are not just taste good but insta-friendly too.  I am loving the soothing and yet light sweetness of the Peach Raisin with Snow Fungus & Papaya In Coconut.
And the dish are available in ala-carte or in set. The whole course is priced at RM 2,688 nett for a table of 10.
