Kohi Yatta @ Sg Besi: Kids Friendly Noms !

July 2, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Kohi Yatta is one of the places where you can enjoy the divinely good and delicious meals here. Located next to a Mazda Showroom, this restaurant brings you with great coffee and yet delicious noms in Sungai Besi.

The restaurant is the brain-child of two successful owners – Ethan Ng and Carol Wong who are indeed passionate about cooking and bringing their patrons comfort and yet delicious meals. Walking into the restaurant, you will find yourself relax where they are indeed kids friendly. Kids can enjoy playing at the special corner setup while you can enjoy yourself with food and coffee here.

Oh! Ring

We started off with the Snacks which is the Oh! Ring. The crispy bites of fried onion rings which is beautifully deep fried till golden brown and it is well coated with the seasoned seaweed. It is addictively good!

Yatta Maki

The Yatta Maki comes perfect to our tastebuds. The sushi roll is freshly made with the tamagoyaki, cucumber and katsu chicken. It is then rolled with the ebiko. Beautifully served, the Yatta Maki comes impressively good!

Yatta Fishbowl

For those who are looking for a healthy meal, they have their version of pokebowl too. The hearty bowl of steamed rice filled with the marinated tuna, salmon, tamagoyaki, kyuri and ebiko in it. This bowl of hearty meal comes perfectly good and they are healthy too.

Luna Una Don

If you are a rice person, go for the Luna Una Don where the generous portion of grilled eel served together with the pickled daikon and the onsen egg in a bowl. The hearty bowl of delicious rice with the tender and flaky texture of the ell. Garnished with ebiko on top.

Oyako Don

The Oyako Don is something to look forward here. You can have the bowl of hearty rice with the crispy deep fried chicken, egg and onions in one goal. It is then topped with their homemade dressing together with chopped spring onions and black sesame seeds.

Yuzu Katsu Udon

If you are not a rice person, go for the Yuzu Katsu Don. The hearty plate of udon perfectly cooked till al-dente and served with the yuzu sauce. It is then topped with the crispy chicken katsu, ebiko and spring onions.

And of course, the highlight- Nasi Lemak Bento ( RM 13.00) comes simply creative. The nasi lemak bento is worthy to try as their nasi lemak bento is completed with the steamed rice, chicken karaage and sides with the anchovies, peanuts, eggs m Japanese cucumber, sambal and also a miso soup. This comes simply generous in portion with the unique presentation.

We ended with the Burnt Cheese Cake which is marvellously delicious and nice. The cheesecake comes with smooth textured and it melts in the mouth.

As for their drinks selection, they have a wide variety too. You can choose from green tea latte to coffee latte, cappuccino or even some cold brewed coffee or the steped chocolate too. Choose your own selections.
